Nice work right here

Denmark is already selling a small chunk of US Treasury bonds to the tune of about $100 million.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What des that mean? Sounds like hes getting Greenland to someone like me who doesn't know the entire situation.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, the EU either managed to get him to back down by threatening to walk away from the trade deal, or they found something to make him back down. So he claims victory by saying there's a "framework", stops talking about it, and then finds something else to distract his brain dead worshipers.

Thats what I thought, but ya never know

The best way to stand up to a bully is to stand up to a bully. Tromp

The missus and I got this neighbour who is a right prick and wants to be a HOA all by himself. There has been some judicial stuff about our trees and garden, and we won. Then I found him trying to intimidate my wife over the fence and I figured that in addition to being a prick, he's also a bit narcissistic, has delusions of grandeur, and clearly thinks bullying women is acceptable. I had to insert myself into the situation and make it clear how bad it would end for him, to make him stop. 1/2

2/2 A year later he'd found a new lawyer firm to harass us with, and we'd had to keep working on explaining how he just not will have his whiny delusions come through, repatedly. I really hate bullys, and seeing someone who has been allowed to be a bully and an asshole for 6 decades go after a defensive woman really made my blood boil, but I managed to restrain myself to keep it only verbal.

This is by design. All of these tariff threats aren't real. He uses them to get his way. Like a fucking child.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh, Europe didn't cave. This "framework" is likely just something to distract the mindless hordes that worship him until they forget about Greenland with the next new thing he spouts off on.

I wish more people were aware of how similar the tactics of sleazy publicly traded corporations are to those of this administration

I'm still converted some cash to Euros. And Canadian dollars...

6 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of the gas station scene in Civil War.

"How much for half a tank and some jerry cans?" "How much you got?" "$400." *Laughs* "That'll get you a sandwich. We got ham or cheese..." "$400 Canadian." "...ok."

6 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It's actually where I got the idea.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

he has the concept of a framework of a deal.

6 months ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

"Does this include a future deal for ownership of Greenland"

"We've come to a framework of a deal, and its a good deal. People are going to say it's maybe the greatest deal. And if it goes through I think the American people will be very happy. I'll be happy."

"And Greenland?"

"...we're focused on this deal framework for now. We'll come back to Greenland later. We have a concept of a deal."

Dude just cannot admit that he backed the fuck off out of fear.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Funniest thing about it - everything in that suggested deal, was something the US already were able to do.. Trump got nothing new - he just thinks he did.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He doesn't even have a concept.

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

🌮🌮🌮🌮

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So he has the concept of a plan, and TACO
Classic

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And he will tell more in two weeks…

Someone explained to him who is making money on importing Henny to US.

Probably the Europeans got hold of Putin's recording from Trump's hotel room.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dear Europe,
Take off the fucking gloves and sanction the shit out of the trump crime family. Freeze all their assets and start selling US Treasury bonds. This shit won't end until you crash our economy and leave the orange shit stain with his tic tac in his hand.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Europe does not make public fanfare about its negotiations. These are some behind doors. Same as threats.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It will be incredibly bad optics to make 330 million people's lives worse, when the shitheels you'd like us to take care of for you very likely has more than enough assets tucked away in places we can't reach. They would not give a rat's ass about any of you plebs, as they shut the door of the private jet behind them and left you with the stinking mess. You need to find a way, there are no adults that will come and fix this for you. And we're busy trying to not having to learn russian.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think (behind closed doors) they made clear to him that his money would become not just worthless, but he would most likely be assassinated for this shit, and to knock it off.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Planet wide trade/travel embargo against USA. NOW. Krasnov shouldn't even be allowed at events with world leaders. He is a fucking pedophile and should be treated as such by everyone who talks to him. Death to Amerikkka!!!!

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm sure he will take it out on us to assuage his delicate fee fees.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Framework, like his Framework of a health care deal.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

all the European Countries should start with freezing their assets, selling the bonds and basically emptying every single US base on EU ground. Make the fascists realise that it only takes a few weeks to make them the worlds bitch.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Maybe someone explained to him how fast Europe could tank the US economy.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly, it feels like the EU got together to tell Trump something like that. He's just backing out without explaining anything. He's not bragging about it. It looks like he got scared lol.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's not even Tuesday

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's for sure gonna get Greenland. In two weeks.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

...and make Mexico pay for it.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...and make Mexico pay for it.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Obviously

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But we're supposed to have TACOs on Tuesday, not Wednesday.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

See, Europe isn't without its teeth, those teeth being money

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is there a global petition to turn the entire Trump administration (and supporters) over to the aliens? They can do dissections, probing, etc. really they can do anything but breeding.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TACO strikes again.. and that 2nd statement I doubt actually has any meat to it.

6 months ago | Likes 301 Dislikes 1

someone remind me what TACO means

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's concepts of a plan

6 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

>inb4 "They made a deal, and they backed out. It was am amazing deal. Maybe the greatest deal in history probably. I'm the best at making deals and they backed out. They're dishonest and ungrateful people. And we still need Greenland so I'm going to take it."

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I misread "statement" as "amendment" and thought you were encouraging someone to do the thing.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You KNOW it doesnt have any meat

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trump is not a 'source'. His statements cannot be trusted. You can't trust them to be true; you can't trust them to be lies. You can't trust that he won't deny or contradict his statement tomorrow.

He does not provide information. He is not a source.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let's see for how long that holds. He's constantly changing his mind on rather major issues.

And he made it clear that he can bring it up again whenever he feels like. Like when he told the prime minister of Norway he wants (danish) Greenland because they (Norway) didn't give him the Nobel peace prize.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Greenland show up in the next version of the Ukraine peace plan, as compensation for all the great nothing the US plans to contribute.

I generally try and avoid politics so I'm unfamiliar with the term. What does TACO mean?

6 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

It’s a mexican food which contains a corn shell filled with meats and salads. It’s very tasty but get it fresh not from chains or ur bum explodes

Trump Always Chickens Out

6 months ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

Thanks.

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The term notably gives him shitfits because it rightfully shows that fundamentally no one in the places he wants respect actually respects him. IIRC a woman asked him about it and it was one of his many instances of hissing about someone being ~nasty~. And, as b00guy notes it came from his constant waffling on tariff shit last year.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The other user said what it means but didn't mention that it was term made up by investors to describe how Trump always backs out or postpones things at the last minute on things like tariffs.

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/01/21/us/trump-davos-greenland-news

The announcement followed a NATO meeting on Wednesday where top military officers from the alliance’s member states discussed a compromise in which Denmark would give the United States sovereignty over small pockets of Greenlandic land where the United States could build military bases, according to three senior officials familiar with the discussion.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

As per the 1951 agreement?

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive diplomatic matter, and they said the idea was one Mr. Rutte had been pursuing. Two of the officials, who attended the meeting, compared it to the United Kingdom’s bases in Cyprus, which are regarded as British territory.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The officials did not know if the idea was part of the framework announced by Mr. Trump. Asked for comment about the deal and its contents, NATO said in a statement that “negotiations between Denmark, Greenland and the United States will go forward aimed at ensuring that Russia and China never gain a foothold — economically or militarily — in Greenland.”
