Forbidden Starburst

“… and that’s how Starbursts are born, sweetie.”

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this how it’s always done? Seems rather labor intensive.

Put...

Should have stopped when it was still multi-color.

You expect them to make a tie-dye dildo?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends on what it’s meant to become

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Shame to see good marbling disappear

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, the first time he rolled it up was the perfect stopping point

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Why don’t they just start with a chunk of pink?

It looked like the best Starburst *ever*, to me.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You’re like a giant fruit roll up! Idk what that means, but I feel like I stuck the landing.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Lol I know what a fruit roll up is. I meant that I didn’t know what calling someone a fruit roll up meant.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I wasn't calling anyone a fruit roll up. The silicone looks like a giant fruit roll up. JFC it's not hard bro

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Omg LOL. You said it looked like a giant fruit rolled up. I jokingly insinuated that YOU looked like a giant fruit roll up. The joke is that it’s a ridiculous insult. It’s ok though. At least now I know you are as smart as a fruit roll up. The loss of the fake internet points is worth the entertainment. Made my night. Ty

I feel like that colour would be called Red Rocket.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everything reminds me of her... yes, the pink tube, but also the soul crushing.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honest to God, this is my dream job. Just do nothing but this 8 hours a say for 5 days a week. True job satisfaction.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

40 hours of non-stop action of not getting your fingers, hands, arms crushed

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don’t think they should do this

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mmmm forbidden taffy

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is how they make the pink slime that goes into McDonald's chix nuggets

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Wouldn't it have to be burgers for pink slime?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Idk, that was the word on the internet. Nuggets were made from pink extruded slime.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Nuggets are whole white meat these days

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I somehow doubt that. Seems at least to be dark meat too. But IDK I don't even remember the last time I had nuggets from there

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

They haven't used dark meat in years. A couple decades ago they made a big fuss about how they went to all white meat to be healthier.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

These machines scare me, hopefully they have stop bars mounted on the front of them

2 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

They don't. Remain scared.

2 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

E-stop should be directly beside the operator to the left or right.

A bit late at that point once the machine has pulled in enough of you to lift you off the switch, especially since it is hard to step off of the switch when the body part that is caught is on the same side; a stop bar on the front of the machine will stop it if you came in contact with the front of the machine as you are pulled in or resist being pulled in. Now that I think of it, I reverse switch instead of a stop bar would be better, for many reasons.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think they call it degloving or something

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I like the idea of a reverse switch, but then I pictured his other hand getting grabbed by the lower roller, resulting in both of their hands being crushed in a cruel, ironic twist of fate.

Risk can be controlled but not always eliminated

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love watching these things

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's just peachy.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If you liked that, here's some similar ones /gallery/X8GD6eE

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

i wanna eat those

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why doesn't he just use pink in the first place

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

maybe mixing the color in the medium makes it easier to see when its completely mixed in since the color won't be right till its done.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because they want a specific shade of pink for that particular batch of silicone. Buying a pre-made pigment in that shade wouldn't offer any additional quality, while also being WAY more expensive and time consuming.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So, very cool making the pink flesh looking thing, but what is it?

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

New flavor of Hubba Bubba

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's silicone, often used for things like watch bands.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yyyyyessss, watch bands.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My friend is wondering as well what the bell this is used

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't stop thinking about an arm going between those rolls

2 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 2

Well, it'll be SURE to add some color.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw a safety video like that... definitely did not go well

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's controlled by a pedal so instant it comes off it shuts down. No idea if that makes it safer

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What's faster, your reaction speed or how quickly it can deglove your hand?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I suspect they stop when they reach a specific resistance level. Something higher than silicon but less than crunching bone.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Hey why is this colour called 'Bryan'? Seems like an odd name for a colour. Hey 'help wanted' sure I'd love to work mixing ink."

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

"Hey boss, how come there's a thing of baby powder back here?"

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because you're a common working man and don't want to see a fellow human being hurt or because you're a factory owner and don't want to see a careless worker stop the production line and delay product shipment?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Because he wants a new meaty flavour though I wouldn't. Full of microplastics and bone.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pop.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they recommend you don't do that

2 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 1

My dad got his hand sucked into a mechanism like that at the industrial laundromat he worked at. Fortunately he was right next to an emergency stop button or something, or maybe it auto shut down, I don't remember. Either way it sucked his hand in up to the wrist. There was no one around to help him out, and he ended up reaching over the machine with his other hand, grabbed the belts that spun the rollers, and turned the belts to feed his hand back out of the machine. He showed us later 1/

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

when we went on a tour of his job, the machine that had done it. It was all shut down at the time, and he showed up how it happened/how he got out. Then he couldn't pull that belt at all, so he walked around the other side of the machine and used both hands and all his strength to try pulling the belt. He couldn't budge it. Turns out adrenaline is a hell of a drug. 2/2

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You can only do it twice (at most)

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Depends on how far up the first 2 tear off at.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Only if you limit yourself to your own arms.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I’ve seen the after picture on that. Not pretty.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm assuming it's not like the cartoons where their arm just gets flattened like a piece of paper and they simply blow hard into their other thumb to pop it back into 3 dimensions?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, it’s like Judge Doom

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do not watch the one with the Russian guy getting stuck in a lathe. I've never felt so afraid of machinery since I saw that.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I worked on lathes after that video. Terror can spice up life.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I am so tempted..
