I spent the day out on a fortress in the archipelago and landed on improvising on a grand piano. I gotta say it was a good day. I didn’t even have to use my AK?
Still armed with my bazongas tho. Luckily, cus I was jumped in an ambush by this sneaky fellow.
A self-confident man.
A sweet imgur couple.
Men Without Hats • The Safety Dance (1982). I had to remove my post on hour in because it was drawn to my attention the audio was faulty on this video! And I had just replied to a heartfelt comment that I never delete my own posts, they get nuked from time to time.
So I’ve decided not to tag you beautiful beings. Those who know, they know.
Same adorable couple.
I tried a new drawing technique for me. I shaded with lines of coloured ink. It was time consuming. Different techniques require different tempos.
Same technique for all full-body portraits.
I try to steal it’s crackling thunder.
Close-up portrait in style I feel self-assured in.
I use several reference images for this portrait and explore their combination artistically.
This was thoroughly a pleasure-ride to draw.
Must be a beautiful mind belonging to the person who sent me references for this.
An additional boobie pic to cover up for my mistake with the last post. Hopefully 2.0 is welcomed. Cheerio, imgur friends.

I enjoyed your post entirely. Very good!

All the pictures are great. You’ve got a great sense of perspective. I try and draw a face and one eye looks like an Egyptian hieroglyph and the other looks like it belongs to a possessed person
LilyCorinth
Hey, I got a quick tip for drawing eyes. Draw both simultanously. As soon you draw a line on one eye, make sure to mirror that to the other. Eyes are the hardest part to draw. Don’t feel bad when messing that part up. I’ve messed up numorous times with the eyes, and prob have many more to go :)

I draw in Clip Studio and there are 3D models you can drag into your scene. I find it really helpful sometimes to bring in a generic face and lay it under my drawing in the same position and perspective - it helps me to see not only what I got wrong but also why it's wrong. And the 3D faces are generic enough that it's not tempting to directly trace them so I still end up doing the actual drawing myself.

This is awesome, Shaddak!! Makes me want to draw more in similar style! Thank you for being there doing this <3

Happy you like it! There's just something about that kind of flowing motion that does things to my brain.
Icetech3
I like your drawings, I wish I had talent for it
AawesomeAardvaark
It just takes practice
SirButcher
It's not about talent. They practised. A lot. And some more, than a tad bit more. You can do it, too! If you WANT TO, you can start your journey and learn it!
akafluffy
it's not JUST practice, turns out you can just be bad at things. Do you think people who can't draw didn't spend their youth doodling as much or more than the people who can draw photorealistic stuff? I have books and books of doodles and even the stickfigures don't have the same length legs.
Icetech3
Yep, I can solve pretty much any problem and fix anything. But when it comes to art, music, drawing or painting I fail bad and I practiced and practiced. Drums are my favorite thing in the world cuz it's basically math and music so I can kind of do it. But I'll never be great
SnakuPlisskin
I'm arguably pretty good (I say arguably because my drawings just keep drowning in usersub) and I can't get legs the same length either without measuring. It's something you practice and you find tricks to overcome your shortcomings along the way.
akafluffy
It's also ableist AF to say it's just practice, my wife draws and colours far more than I do, even after her strokes, but saying she could outdraw people who don't practice is a Cruel joke.
