That’s crazy because I just looked up cans for sale . can without lid a case of 272 is $386 . Meaning each can is $1.42. Of course Campbells probably has a volume discount so let’s say 1/3 of 1.42 is about $,50. $.85-$.50 =$ .35 for contents , labels, lid, and shipping and retailers markup.

And I was a contractor for four years who they wouldn’t hire so that they could easily cut people loose without reporting layoffs.
They basically fired all of the local employees in Camden New Jersey a few years ago, where their headquarters in. And this after claiming they would help the community with employment.

I doubt it. Embarrassing your boss isn't protected. But even if they were protected for that act, at-will employment is awful. As long as Campbell's doesn't say why they're firing the employee, they'll be in the clear.

And possibly some file charges for illegal recording depending on the state. I know at my job, they recently implemented a "mute everyone and turn off your camera" when you enable recording to comply with GPDR

Recording people without their consent isn't necessarily illegal, but a boss of a private company can absolutely fire you for it, and in most states a recording that isn't consented to isn't admissible evidence in court.

not to mention it's not uncommon at all for it to be a breach of contract in the form of corporate conduct and immediately a fireable offense. Plenty of offices I've worked out entire swathes of areas prohibited recording audio, taking photos, and videos in any form and it was a fireable offense on the spot. Meetings had exceptions if a director formally approved it to be recorded beforehand. This was at insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies.

You don't really have to cite a broken law for a lawsuit. You can cite things as vague as being caused distress. Polar had to deal with a lawsuit a bit back for their lemon seltzer not tasting lemony enough. It's not all that rare to file lawsuits you know you don't have a winning case for against wealthy corporations because you assume they'll settle out of court. That said, I have no idea on how valid the case here is, just saying the presence of a lawsuit proves nothing either way.

That said, the complaint calls forth "racism" but none of the quotes in the article are racist (although the article only mentions a couple of things from a 1 hour rant)...that's because most people can be legally fired at any time for any reason

Not for reasons that are illegal. If they're at will the company can give zero reason for termination but if they give a reason they have to prove that reason. And they especially can't fire someone over their race, religion, sexuality, or gender.

Correct. These states make it part of the wiretapping laws. U have to have a warrant in order to secretly record conversations in those states. And penalties of anywhere from a fine to jail time depending of each state. But note at the person recording is required to follow the law of the state they are presiding in.

That may be the case. But I spend less money on food than my wife does, and consume better quality nutrition than she does. She likes pastries, pretzels, chips, marshmallows, and ice cream. I like yogurt, apples, figs, and raisins. My BMI is steady at 22.5, hers is 29. To me, eating like a rich man means eating better quality food for less money.
