I can't believe I forgot the most pivotal role of them all, I suppose I could say I was drugged at the time (advil pm yes I'm boring) but that's no excuse.
The Shout 1978, I somehow missed Rocky Horror but this weird horror movie about an English composer who basically learned " Dragon Shouts " over 30 years before Skyrim stayed with me.
Legend, and he was so captivating in the role! It wasn't until years later that I realized he was the same guy I'd enjoyed in The Shadow and Congo. Clue was probably my favorite role of his, though it was a late discovery for me as I didn't see it until the early 2000s.
Christopher Lloyd plays the bad guy Switchblade Sam. Tim Curry was only considered for the part (and several others), but didn't get it. I checked the movie's cast list to make sure I wasn't goin' crazy. Perhaps he plays a minor character I'm unaware or have forgotten? Nope. He doesn't even appear in the movie's cast, nor in the cast of any Dennis the Menace movie or TV series adaptation. So...

Initially, The Three Musketeers.

The Hunt For Red October. The only movie in which Tim Curry plays a totally normal guy.
