That shit is haunted, see the face
wolfspirit21
This natural or man made?
Buffalox8
When you get to the promised landYou're gonna shake the eye's hand
sonomarco
Not even craters are that perfectly spherical. I'm guessing human-made.
charlesmessier626
You mean that pond?
QuartzPoker
Can't tell if Cenote or Crater. Very nice either way.
If I squint it looks like the water is shallower in the middle. But I can't tell. That might mean it is a crater in that case, though.
DoctorMikeska
Something evil dwells at the bottom of that lake...something ancient, and hungry.
LlamasInPajamas710
...where?
Ploty
Gifs that ends too soon
ChokingApples
I’m not seeing it.
Hithae
Looks like a bathroom rug over one of those big gym balls
Muwahaha
FrsNbrzy
Looks like a face at the end of the video! So beautiful tho!
Pixelcookiez
What's the song over the clip?
RelativeVelocity

Altorhys

hope this helps. I used my gf's $3k dollar photo editing equipment to improve the lake's visibility /a/AAyXeo7
RayHaralson
Three thousand dollar dollar?
Yes, 3 thousand USD dollars.
softrogue01
Looks like someone dropped a blue plate on orange shag carpet.
tomitau
Fun fact: lakes are a hole in the ground, with water in it. Unlike in US, size matters too.
McMasterx
Another fun fact: Texas only has 1 natural lake. The rest are all man made.
I didn't know that
GemsAreOutrageousTrulyTrulyTrulyOutrageous
Lake Tahoe isn't all that bif, but it's hella deep. Like, 1,644 hella deep. Or 501 hellas for the big brained countries.
SirBrendan
If you're going to include something as beautiful as 'Moonlight Sonata', please don't cut it off mid-verse.
For real.
FatBastardVegetarian
Don't see the point in putting a 7 second video to music; much less this masterpiece.
ruferto
source?
Haidere1988
It's an SCP, it's really a carnivorous creature that has been there for millions of years.
C141Clay
Probably a spring, & rain-fed combination.
oh, so its not a render then?
zerokarma
Where is this?
Trelis
Based on my travelb experiences my guess it's on Earth.
lykwo
Well, I'm no expert, but, I'm no expert.
DaveElfstaine
Have you been anywhere else yet?
Randomice
The eye of the world. It is watching you watching it.

The Ceaseless Watcher is turning its gaze upon us
KierCalhen
excellent book.
LochNessMister
It's a lake.
True. Gotta check on when that TV series will be coming.
That's "been coming" for like a decade... I'm not even finished the series yet, just started reading it. Though I read the first 4 5 times.
Well, this time they actually started filming. But that was halted cause of Covid.
Heronmark
May the Creator bless Sanderson for finally finishing the series for us all
BayazTheBenevolent
Oh yeah, I remember when WoT was fun to read
what book?
Stormblade
Eye of The World.
oh,i read that. been a while
Sfingks
looks like a crater
JohnnyLawlessEsq
Most likely an inland Blue Hole, known in Mexico as a "cenote." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_hole
ringwood
Glaciers can also cause some pretty round lakes, but likely crater
PimpinKen
Looks like a giant stargate
Astramancer
It's not flushing sideways, though.
orivalx
Most likely a cenote, it likely extends to a vast cave network underground. With many other lakes similar to this one in the area. Sometimes
NotasbigasmediumsizedJock
But remember, not everyone who goes into the cenote comes out of the cenote
They are pointers of where an asteroid hit a long time ago.
Maybe, but Cenotes are rare outside of Yucatan, and the landscape here doesn't look correct. Hard to tell though
Dinos91
There's a lot of crater lakes in northern canada
Yup, I fish in one of them regularly. Very deep lake
EatYourSoylentGreenAndShutUp
Are the fishes in it also round?
Awesome!
Bukkhockey
Pike, walleye, lake trout?
Mostly Walleye, although people here in Manitoba use an incorrect name for Walleye, they call them "Pickerel", which is a different species
I've seen the same mistake except it's "sauger" instead of walleye
