You need to be careful, once comics start showing up in your brain they may end up in other places, like on the page. Once they spread that far the prognosis is…poor.

Did you mean to say the prognosis is ....miscellaneous? 🙂

#4 Man, that Bill Door sure does a mean Harvest. . .

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

What can the harvest hope for, if not for the care of the reaper Man?

It's *not* a buyers market, meaning it's a bad time to buy.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ah I see now; the demon is refusing to buy because souls are too expensive and demon can't afford it. That's why the human can't offload his soul; it's worth too much.

Good problem to have, normally. Unless you have to pay property tax on a soul.

They have too many as it is, and with a wife like that, he knows what he's doing.

#2 taking this one to work. Nicely done.

#1 I feel like this should say Sellers Market, but then again I don't know much about comedy except that it's location, location, location... or was it timing?

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I think it's correct. I assume the guy is trying to sell his soul. In a buyer's market, the buyer is in an economically advantaged position. It's not a buyer's market, so the devil doesn't want to overpay for the guy's soul.

A buyer's market is good for the buyer. A seller's market is good for the seller. If you're trying to sell your car and are getting low offers, that means it's not a good seller's market (or is a good buying market). Same thing goes for your soul

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Right, now read it again. He says it's *not* a buyer's market, so the devil doesn't want to buy the soul.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ah shit, I get what you're saying. You can read it two ways
1. "It's not a buyer's market for me so I'm not interested in buying" (the way you read it)
2. "It's not a seller's market for you so I'm only offering you $5 and a three-month Netflix trial" (the way I assumed it SHOULD be written)

I think #2 is right and is the intention of the comic. Human is disappointed that the Devil is either not purchasing or offering very little, because souls are very cheap at the moment. I think Navyjeff reads it the same way as #2, too. The caption is just not correct but its a great comic.

#6 Sounds like how a doctor told me this recurring issue I've been having for two years is just because I'm dehydrated, or maybe "low on electrolytes"

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

: ) It was my favorite too.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I thought so as well. I bet it was a nice change in routine for Death.

There's a book about that... Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I haven't read that one yet, I should!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Get off imgur and start reading. It's a fantastic book, one of my absolute favorites.
