Bricks are easy to break - if you bend them at all they break easily compared to certain types of wood - the issue is making sure they're properly supported so they don't flex, and having the strength to bend them based on the thickness.
But yeah, breaking bricks and stuff during parades looks cool, so that's why we did it :)
Motion blur every time one thing passes in front of another (very beginning when his hand passes in front of his sensei, then layer every time he moves his hands behind the bricks) brick disappearing right before they hit him... this is AI slop.
Cool... Each of those slabs would break if dropped from that height, and the red ones from not much higher. Most likely hand made for this purpose, or kiln failures. They have teens perform this trick at exhibitions.
Sadly, that's Youtubes Automatic "AI enhancement" that they do for almost all shorts. It has noticable artifacts and nobody really knows why youtube is doing this

already debunked. proven to be edited on a computer for effect by cgi professionals

I especially like how the broken brick that flies towards him at the end just poofs out of existence. Is that part of the technique?
Stonemarter
And the video artifacts around him arm?

Chattafaukup
it's not. it was already debunked as cgi by experts
sneakypoo
Here he is 4 years ago before AI could do this stuff: https://old.reddit.com/r/blackmagicfuckery/comments/tku8ja/dude_just_touched_it/ Yes, it's faked, but don't blame everything on AI just by default.
Elkku
does it still work, even without the sensei looking, super neutral expression, hands on the hips guy looking?
GrandmasterSpank
NO so dont do this in a barfight.

Source: I was a teen who did this at exhibitions.

Still... I don't think I could accelerate my fist that quickly
cenfou2tout
The acceleration can be proportional to the horniness, in which case nothing is impossible...

Yes we do. If they all have AI markers, then no one knows what’s real and what’s not.
DrBlackJack
That might explain the blurriness, but not the brick flying toward him at the end that just dissappears.
Snowman25
That is correct
