The 6th Annual (Unofficial) Imgurian Holiday Card Exchange is fun, easy to participate in, and open to all!

Sign up on this secure site by no later than ***DECEMBER 6th**:

Get your match on 12/8 via email and send your card. Somewhere in the world, someone is sending one back to you! Get your card at the speed of post.

The mailing and email addresses you provide won't be given to anyone other than your match. If you want to participate but don't want your details shared (beyond an admin) but still want to receive a card, just make a note of it and it won't be given to anyone else; you'll still get a card from me.

Want to send but not receive? Okay!
Want to send more than one?! Sure!
Just put it into the notes.

RULES:
Send holiday cheer to your fellow Imgurian, get cheer in return. Be nice. That is all.
No Backsies. This is an honor system.

Why should you do this?
- Because you're the kind of person who feels happiness when you can help someone else feel shiny for a moment (or you aren't that kind of person at all… but want to be)
- You'd like to participate in an exchange for the holidays, but secret Santa is no more
- Sending cards is totally Your Thing
- Maybe you just like mail? (I'm not sure; I haven't met you)
- You’re interested in brightening your day and someone else’s, too
- We accept international matches!

This isn't an officially sanctioned Imgur event. It's nothing but a simple community card exchange. Yay, Imgurian holiday cheer!

Each year I have sent a card to every participant, in addition to their exchanged card. Only one time have I heard that a recipient didn't receive a card, despite our best efforts, so you're 99.5% sure to receive some cheer!

The more eyes on the Exchange, the more cards sent to brighten an Imgurian’s day, so I humbly request that you upvote and share this post so that as many folks as possible can see it and decide if they’d like to exchange cards this season. Tell your friends! Thanks :)

I’m hoping this is seen and upvoted so as many people as possible can join if they want to. The past three years I have had to do a second round for the people who regret not seeing it in time, but those cards often arrive super late (often after the new year!) Better to have eyes on it before the cut-off date *coming soon* on Dec 6th.

I would love to be added to the list for next year, please. But it might be a better idea to already start this in mid November? Unless you're only pairing people on the same continent. By the time I manage to go buy and send a card, it won't get very far before Christmas.

To be fair, sign up opened in October :) If you’re saying it’s better to have international matches made before the end of November (unless clearly stated in a round 2 that it may arrive after the new year) then that’s definitely feedback to take into account for next year. I can say that the participants are always happy to have cards in the mail even if they don’t appear until well after expected, so please do feel free to sign up for this year!
