The way she just she just casually does perfect 180° splits. Most people would have to either dislocate something or tear a ligament, & the rest would require crazy core strength, but she makes it look easy. This 14 year old is giving me an inferiority complex.
As someone who has dated a ballerina it's actually not that far off.. She went into athletic goofball mode a lot. Especially if there was a one of the classical tunes playing like Flight of the Bumblebee or In the Hall of the Mountain King somewhere. Or someone had a ringtone she vibed with when out on town. If it was inappropriate setting you could sometimes see her sway slightly while performing the full dance in her head. (She was also a black belt in standing in queues without complaining.)
I've always wondered how many gymnasts will happily do all the foldy/bendy things while some ape of a man is trying to do things to them (with consent obv.)?
Lol the Gen Z takes. He's considered a historically important comedian. It's probably like a millennial watching Mel Brooks like wow this is all cringe, I've heard 100 other ppl do this joke, not realizing he's the one who invented it
Think that's some hefty generalizing there. I'm a millennial. Peak Seinfeld standup was prior to my birth. The show was okay to watch growing up. Maybe his standup was amazing in its peak but, in his old age, he has kinda sullied his rep. That coffee and car show? Bro just beats up his guests half the time. Mel Brooks however, love him. Sometimes telegraphed jokes are just what you need and his films are witty and often have really good messaging attached. Z likely do see him as cringe tho

I can do the first part where I lift my leg and then flail it to the side, and then I fall from the bed, dislocating something

Clean crisp movements and high mobility. Jesus she's gotta be pretty fit, right? Or am I just so old I don't remember this kind of mobility anymore?
trasneoir
Naw man, she's really fucking fit.
cytherians
Must feel so incredible to be able to do that. Look at her smile. 😏😁😎
DrewK98
The smile is as rehearsed as the toe point. Doesn't mean she *doesn't* enjoy it, but the smile is part of the performance.
Woogyface
is that an ace ace king king queen queen double extra super size bed? it's wide enough for 4 people. i want that

Impressive core strength, I'd imagine.

Neat. It was the toothy smile that gave him away.

I used to know a ballet dancer who could do this. I tried once and my stomach hurt for a week.

14? She looks a bit more like in mid 20s. Still very impressive performance.

We get it, you stretch. /s

I can do that too. The first part. Where she's laying on the bed. Before she starts moving.

Oh yeah, you mean Savasana? Yeah Im a expert Yogi as well.

Sometimes I have issues putting on my socks while sitting in bed in the morning.
eXoRainbow
It's not you, its the socks.
RaymondChoppard
I can do that too : sitting at a desk doing nothing.
PineappleLoopsBroether
Sitting is a lot more work. You’re so strong.
ThisGuyPostingThings
There are some of us who even get paid for that strength.
eXoRainbow
I can do that too. What the kid did in the background.

That's actually the mom and her son lol
Skizzlesnap
That until they feel how rough their hands typically are and in dancers (especially ballerinas) how mangled their feet are.
nintendolunchbox
Haha. Those feet people are gonna struggle that evening.
pgdave
I absolutely could not date a dancer (or former dancer) for that reason.
nintendolunchbox
Okay Quintin. ;)

I've always wondered how many gymnasts will happily do all the foldy/bendy things while some ape of a man is trying to do things to them (with consent obv.)?
MithridateEupator
Presumably if there's consent then she doesn't hate that her partner is an "ape of a man" as you say.
nintendolunchbox
Well. There are resources available at the usual websites. ;)
Someshithead241
You say that like some people don't like the apeness.
BoredLyron
From my experience, a fair number of them. Bendy people like to show off as much as anyone else and you rarely get a better chance.
nintendolunchbox
It usually starts with the flirting

also because gymnast all have dump trucks

Given that most gymnasts tend to be teenagers and Jerry "dated" a high school senior when he was 40, this tracks.
nintendolunchbox
Hehe totally. Lol
nikinnorway12
he may tell jokes, but he's no comedian
nintendolunchbox
Yeah. I don't find him watchable at all. But I watched his TV show when it originally aired.
azazyel
Comedians in Cars getting Coffee was pretty good, I love listening to comedians talk about their craft

im in my 40s. not gen z. Jerry just ain't funny anymore. he is out of touch and a fascism supporter.

They were quoting a line from the episode...

Yetiphobia
Gen X takes. We were loving Seinfeld the TV show and shitting on Seinfeld the standup back in 1992. His standup ranges from mild to wack.
