The last word. My friend printed it and I painted it.

Incidentally, this dropped midway through grind my rear end off for the Thorn in Destiny one.

3D printed? Are the files online?

Vash the Stampede was here.

I know it’s not Ace but damn how I miss Cayde!

It’s high noon somewhere in the world.

The Dredgen Vale reveal is one of my favorite bits of lore. Pretty sure Bane, Totalus, Mire, and Scarr are going to be the "dark Vanguard".

Looks like the one in Arma 3

Needs to level the print bed and tune in the slicer https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/ Good general guide

Thanks, I'll pass it on to my friend.

Thank you for the article! I will pass it on to my friend.

I would very much like to make a Destiny cosplay, and I'd try to make Hard Light

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do you have Parkinson's? Cause that'll complete the cosplay of a guardian with hard light

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Spray and pray, my friend. I'd better look out for people with epilepsy.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a nice gun, I'll give you that. But the engraving gives you no tactical advantage whatsoever.

"To rend one's enemies is to see them not as equals, but as objects, hollow of spirit and meaning."

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Dredgen Yor said that right? The wielder of Thorn?

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's from the original Thorn card, and the 7th book of sorrow, which is based on Yor's writings. He may not have been the first to say it.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ah I remember Destiny's grimoire cards. Made the lore much larger if you were willing to look for it

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's the same in D2. Some really huge reveals and implications that just aren't explained or shown in game.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bit more of sanding, some liquite Putty, more sanding, and some polishing and this would look like a real version.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

My buddy will be sanding the next one so it looks super clean. I'll tell him about the liquite putty, thanks.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry Liquid Putty, I misstyped the name, the two best for your gun are the Tamiya ones, the can be diluted with the Tamiya Lacquer thinner

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yellow cab, and they also have a fast curing version that needs sunlight, I think that one can also be thinned down with the same thinner.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just dab it on the recesses with an old brush and use another brush with the thinner to smooth it out before it cures.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yellow cap........damn it

This handgun is actually modeled after a real gun the Chiappa Rhino. https://i.pinimg.com/736x/16/b1/28/16b128fa8bcbbfdad8677608a07c0837.jpg

I want the entirely gold one.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit, does it shoot literal rhinos?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

God I want one so bad but I'm broke as fuck

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got to check one of these out recently. It's really cool and has a good feel to it.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

DemoRanch on Youtube has had a couple of videos on the Rhino IIRC, I know he has had at least one made.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just in case you need to win a quick draw but in style

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m working on something similar now, also 3D prints can be sanded if you plan on doing more. What type of paint did you use and any primer?

7 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

If you really want to be able to sand a print... use wood filament. 30% wood. Let’s you sand it. Even smells like real wood when extruding.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I use Army Painter for minis, the primer comes in different colors and I've had zero issues.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ABS is better for sanding and priming over PLA as well.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

PETG sands well too and you don't get the smell is ABS

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also great work! Ran out of space in the last one :p

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Thanks! Yes, primer, airbrush and Vallejo air paints.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Looks like a rough print. But if you don’t look too close, it looks good.

Why critique? It looks awesome. Could you build that? No. You don’t have a 3D printer... it’s why your salty

He's probably salty because, after all, .5% of the average humans body weight is....salt.

I was giving honest feedback, and it wasn’t all negative. I don’t really see that as being salty. Why are you so angry?

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Man. I’m not remotely angry. Your feedback was just shitty.

Why critique how they critique something if you have nothing to add other than the disliking of how they critique, bring supporting points.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yes, the 3d printing is rough, but since I am just the painter I'll blame my friend. Thanks for taking a look!

7 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Thanks!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You did an excellent job with the paint.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thanks! Appreciate that.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Have you done any others? Ace of Spades?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If my friend is able to print out a smoother copy we are going to do Ace of Spades, Thorn and Hawkmoon over the next month.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

its made to be viewed from a distance, not through a microscope - nice job

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

A higher resolution has the additional benefit of not showing through the paint.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If someone can’t handle honest feedback/criticism they can’t get better.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I think OP is handling it well.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OP is. For some reason, other people aren’t.
