Unless you have an IQ of 1, you can all see what's coming. You can see though all their lies and know exactly what's about to happen on our own home soil. And it won't be from IRAN or any other Middle East nation. It's going to be done by our own president, GOP members, their enablers and supporters. We need to prepare ourselves and be vigilant. Avoid important or historic areas, or anywhere large crowds gather daily. I have the feeling they're going to commit this act at a place of historic significance to maximize public outrage. Kiddie diddler in chief, all his GOP enablers, and many of the rich and powerful are willing to do ANYYHING to stay in power and out of prison. And you should all be as terrified as I am. This sucks.

Let's see: SCOTUS made him effectively above all laws, and he has control over everyone who could possibly arrest him anyway. The GOP wants this because they know if it plays out, an opposing party will no longer exist. There is no court injunction for this because there is no pathway for them to DO that. There is nothing for them to misinterpret, and since THEY don't run the damn elections, them saying "nuh-uh, they are cancelled" is completely meaningless. There is literally no avenue for him to do anything. There is no way to do that by force or law. What would "cancelling the election" even LOOK like? Martial law in California? ALL of California? It is literally logistically impossible.

I mean, the thing is this isn't even a "they can't justify this" thing, there isn't any mechanism or anything they could even cite to try to misrepresent the situation into justifying. The federal government isn't even involved in if and how elections are run. That is managed entirely by the state, so even if they SAID the elections are cancelled, California would just run them anyway... so AT BEST he could tell his little cult followers not to vote. and.... sure?

9/11 was election day in NYC... they just tossed out cast ballots and rescheduled it for 9/25/2001... we had elections during WW2, during WW1, during the civil war when the US was in active combat right outside the Capitol...
