Last summer when they rereleased to theaters in the lord of the rings trilogy the only showed in i 4D. It was a great experiance as a one time thing. Would not seek it out more than once.
Very start of the 2 towers almost got my friend and both our asses thrown out of our seats at the start when gandalf fights the balrog...at the time i was almost 400 pounds and my ass left the chair a good half a foot.
The scene when Saurmon spins gandalf was also a little silly. Thank god no badguy smells

4DX is a choice for a movie. Do you like popcorn, nachos, drinks without lids? Maybe not for you. Do you like amusement rides that last for hours and not just a few minutes? Maybe for you.

Nolan's a fan of practical effects. Practical effects need a real ship. There's a real viking ship made that can actually sail. AFAIK, not the same for a bronze age greek ship.
