#21 Try being told you're "too much" while ALSO being told you're "not enough." That's not stressful at all! (Had to cut someone off who did that to me frequently. It was not a fun time, don't actually try it.)

#7 oh, they’re dog treats?
PipWhipple
Yep! This one is probably just for the meme themes, but I have gotten Bocce brand for my dog before and he loves them. They even smell nice, as treats go.

#1 I drink a fair amount of coffee to manage my adhd symptoms. The key is that caffeine is metabolized with physical activity. If one drinks coffee to work, it will be very helpful to do cardio or weight training after to reduce the caffeine still in one's system. It doesn't take long and you'll go to bed at a regular time.

caffeine is useless, guarana still makes me twitchy.
phovos
That's an ADHD thing? Caffeine does that to me and my coworkers give me funny looks when I say I don't want coffee because it'll make me tired.
ElbowDeepInAPoliceState
Sometimes. Gives just enough focus that the anxiety receeds... which makes you sleepy
ZySoua
didn't know adhd has this effect, but coffee and caffeine in general does have this effect on me. I drink it and become sleepy. I even drink some cola before sleep sometimes and have incredible dreams (has been now a constant).
TI99Kitty
Not so much caffeine in my case, as probably caffeine overdose. Before I had a Keurig, I used to brew an entire pot of coffee, wind up drinking the whole thing in maybe half an hour, then brew another. Then, after two pots of coffee, have a nice nap.
Now, I drink one or two cups, and having to set up the thing for the third time is usually more effort than I want to take. No naps.
periwinklepanda
My dad takes it when he can't sleep, and especially if he has a headache. Makes him fall asleep and gets rid of the headache.
AccountOfMyDong
The headache sounds like caffeine withdrawals. Speaking from experience.

#1 The logic eludes me. Either tiny caffeine or infinity? Just slam an energy drink for middle caffeine.

Just watched the pilot a couple of days ago, it was a lot of fun. My only gripe is that the English VAs sounded kinda off, but that's just my take.

I was looking at the dump and imagined how I'd make them food after dicking them down, and then I saw your comment, pffffft! ^o^
walpurrga
dont you think your comment is pretty violating? this is an actual person behind the screen you are talking about
Drix1942
Yes, I think my comment was sexually crude and crude in general. I apoligize.
Drix1942
It's the vibe of the dump I'm hot for, @walpurrga You're looking for hurt where no one was hurt.
Drix1942
If you enlighten me how my comment was vile I'll apologize whole-heartedly. I'm not trying to be a douche, fyi.
danat101
“I’m not trying to be a douche”
“Fuck you” what a sweetheart you are
Drix1942
I responded angry to a bs take. Hardly a douche moment.
walpurrga
You made a comment saying you imagine how you'd fuck my friend, in a public forum, where my friend can read it. Just because you wrap it in 'funny' wording and an emote doesn't change that. And regarding your other comment that no one was hurt, you don't know that, and if you try to reflect on what you said for a moment you will notice how this is not okay. Plus, don't take silence as a sign that it's all good.
Drix1942
I made the "fuck them and make breakfast for them" comment without a specific person in mind. It was a comment for the dump; "Yes, this vibe I'd be in love with and I would fuck them." Fuck you for getting offended for no reason.
Drix1942
I am sorry. I apologize. I doubled down on a shit take.

#14 As far as I know, kidney stones are worse, by a LOT. If your period feels like one you REALLY should get checked out for endometriosis.
migratingotter
Like that will help in most cases. They’ll put you on the pill. And unless they keep you on the hormones 24/7/365 it doesn’t really help.
Shewy92
It's apparently worse than childbirth.
periwinklepanda
Have experienced both, kidney stones and childbirth, and they're not really comparable. The pain is in different places, the recovery is different for both, and both have different outcomes.
Was, ironically, in the ER yesterday for a kidney stone.
At least with childbirth there are pain meds during and after labor and delivery.
With kidney stones, most doctors just tell you to take ibuprofen and tylenol. If you have to have the stones broken up or removed you're more likely to get pain meds.>
periwinklepanda
VoidScreamer
I've done both... childbirth was still very much worse. At least the kidney stone pain was relieved by opiods. Labor was not.
3Davideo
That makes sense. Ureters are narrow, don't dilate to facilitate passage, and stones can be spiky.
OmNachoMama
My daughter has done both. At least with childbirth, you get a kid out of the deal.
Shewy92
And endorphins at the end.
Zeterai
At least with a kidney stone you don't have to raise a kid.
OmNachoMama
And maybe you get to keep the stone!
