I thought about Dolly two days ago while passing a truck stop that was for sale. Made me think her opening her truck stop. She passed away... Thought about Tim Curry because I saw a road sign that said SPACE! Available! and it made me think of the meme. Tim curry died...
I promise, as much as it disgusts Mr, I will think real fuckin hard about Trump
Do the whole thing tho! Your obviously have to drive and genuinely think about a person because of something you see on the side of the road. We believe in you!
Even that has a purpose and helps take care of peoples needs. One could argue even the Skunk carcass can lead to a fun little game of skunk or stoner...
Maybe if I ponder on the existence of tape worms and screw flies...
Best version of the story was that his boss didn't believe one bomb could destroy a city, was in the process of calling him a liar when the second bomb hit. Don't know if it is true but damn that irony.
I ve read this story. He was a engineer for Mitsubishi. Surreal situation. But also a model for life. Every time I feel my problems are important, I try to remember that this person got hit by nuclear bombs twice and lived and thrived.
Quite a few survivors were transported to Nagasaki (which isn't very far), and were killed (or maybe survived) in the 2nd, but there was so much confusion that their names were never written down.
Look they did an interview with the guy and told the boss what happened when he got there. And understandably the boss did not believe him. No one in the general public had ever heard of or could even conceive what a nuke was.
Imagine if you were driving to Colorado for work and were late and told your boss "sorry im late the whole state of Wyoming disappeared in a flash" You boss would be like "stfu and just get to work" *murmurs underbreath "this fuckin guy i swear"
On a serious note, being burned in a bombing in '45 Japan wasn't that unusual and they had no concept of what nuclear bomb is until then. Japanese high command sent out a guy to investigate why all radio signals and phone lines from Hiroshima were silent reasoning that they couldn't be bombed because air defense didn't spot any big bomber formation night before and the garrison would raise the alarm. He had to turn back his plane and call that there is giant pillar of smoke where the city was

Go to Washington DC and stay there as long as you need to.

Tell me you weren't in LA yesterday, please. These things typically occur in threes, and you've already used the first two.

I've definitely seen this joke done before. Feels really gross to just "update" it whenever there's a new celebrity death.
Swordguy
Well, if Trump would just die already, we could all stop making "go to Mar-a-Lago" jokes. So if you think about it, really, your problem is with him.
anjeleyezjr
Naw, go to DC. Get the full set if you can. We could use a fresh roster.
MiserableBustard
That's just inefficient, go to Washington and wipe out the whole lot.

Skunk carcass... maybe too easy...
carmexcoveredlips
Maybe drive by a golf course and think about how many times Trump cracked off a good shot but nobody believed him because of how much he cheats.
Seems like you've gotta think about something kind of nice but sad about the person.
BarryTheCyborg
Take a drive by your local sewage treatment plant maybe?

There is a guy, Tsutomu Yamaguchi who survived both atomic bombings.
He was in Hiroshima on 6 August 1945 for work when the bomb exploded, badly burning him.
He returned home to Nagasaki, went back to work, and was telling his boss about Hiroshima when the second bomb exploded on 9 August.
He survived that too, lived until 2010, and became an outspoken campaigner against nuclear weapons.
He had a ROUGH week, but how dedicated to survive a nuclear blast and go BACK to work!!
bitemark
Dang, if anyone had the potential to become a superhero, that was it
DinkyDoinky
No worker rights and a terrible work culture will do that
NeoAcario
We here in the USA have nothing on the work culture of Japan.

Both are important.
TeamToasterNeverForget
He may be recognized as the only person who survived both bombings but he said to a journalist there were at least 8 others.

Yes, I recall reading a story about a nurse in the same situation.

Boss? Imma be a bit late today.
Why? Nuclear bomb wiped out the entire city.
Yes I know you still need me to come in. Yes, I’m walking now.

Japanese work culture, innit?

And, bluntly enough, war time tends to bring out extra effort amongst the patriotic.
