System 6 and 7 were the peak, IMO. Loved Macs back then, but haven't personally owned Apple computers since then. OSX and it's brethren just aren't for me.

Yeah, my family never owned Apple computers when I was a kid, but a lot of my early computer education was Apple based because my school district was given these huge grants from Apple, so every classroom had a Macintosh and we had computer labs full of IIe machines. At this point I'd much rather use macOS than Windows, but Linux serves my personal needs much better than either.

As far as I know, the bomb box is gone. In my experience, though, my Mac either isn’t crashing at all, or is crashing so hard it wouldn’t have even been able to put up the bomb box (only happens once, maybe twice a year).
