I give full size, but no longer honor system. Very few kids (or adults) can resist the temptation and they take as many as they can.

If I put out 10 or 1000 or 100000 candy bars with a "Take one or two!" sign, they'd all be gone in 20 minutes. Parents encourage and assist.
