My brother was loudly ranting about how he'd never go to NYC again. The last time any of us were in NYC was when I was 12 and he was 10. We spent two days there doing tourist nonsense while on the way to see our aunt who lived in Boston. I'm sure that New York will never survive your decision to never go there again, after not having been at all in the past 30 years...

I will give you a causation. studies have long proven that if you make sure everyones basic needs and rights are met so that they can live good lives with out having to chase after rent/food/medical/tranpsortation/insurance costs then they are free to not do crime. Crime is the vast majority of the time done out of necessity of survival. If they have time to learn/work/pursue lives careers they want or any other form of self improvement crime plummits. Then we can focus on the criminals of greed
