The girl that should have been the one that I could trust the most, after all the energy I put in, let someone else give her comfort while I was on the other side of the country and thus couldn't be there to give her affection.
I feel empty and lonely.

Just needed to put it out there, good night.

watch the movie Swingers, with Vince Vaughn. Helped me get over shitty women. Anyone who has seen this movie will know what Im saying

This comment is so money.

I think a lot of us have been there before brother, it hurts but you have to move on. Just remember you aren't alone

A main reason relationships fail is if there was not full honesty at some early stage; when issues could be addressed, or choices made.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"She was never yours, it was just your turn." Sorry to hear that, friend, having gone through the similar situation before (more than once).

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It fucking sucks, it hurts and it brought you to your knees. But I promise you, it will get better and you will look back at this and smile,

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

realizing how huge of a bullet you've dodged and how much stronger you've become after defeating this pain and rising like a Phoenix.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She cheated on you, her and her friends are doing enough to excuse her from the decisions shes made, its ok to feel angry

My ex husband cheated, pretty much any chance he got. The cheating says more about them, not you. They will gaslight and blame you. 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Who has the energy to be that horny even? Seems like it's more about needing to feel attractive/wanted for some people.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Definitely an endless need for affection, doesn't matter from who. In my ex's case anyway

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong. Cheaters never change, it's who they are 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

My brother, it isn't your fault. You just had the terrible luck of falling in love with a shitty person. Now she's shown who she 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 170 Dislikes 9

really is, it's up to you to cut ties & use this as an opportunity to grow....not to become jaded and closed off, but to GROW. Keep us postd

5 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 2

Also, get tested. Even if you dont think it's likely, it is possible.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A very unfortunate - but wise - piece of advice

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Congratulations. That means you dodged a bullet. The journey to find someone who isn’t trash begins!

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Every cheater I've ever known is a repeat offender. Curious when the light bulb finally goes off for some, if at all.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"We didn't mean for it to happen", grossly sweet sounding excuse will be all prepared, but in reality it just showed what she was all along.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

When you're ready get ALL the memories that are related to her- pictures, gifts, cards, etc. and throw em out. It will help so much, I swear

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If you read it backwards it’s about guy getting over the loss of a loved one and then eventually getting better. You can do this dude.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

i will give you a hug

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She lost someone who loved her. You got rid of someone who didn't love you. Her loss not yours.

Imo cheating is the worst thing due to the fact you never really forget it. But it does get better and you will move past it in time (1/2)

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hope you're holding up okay. (2/2)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's not how cheaters work. If you were here, you would just feel worse cuz she would have been cheating on you despite your affection.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sorry. Please remember love itself is not enough to make a relationship. You also deserve respect, trust, and understanding.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is definitely the lesson I've learned

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hope you’re feeling even just a smidge better today.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry you're hurting, friend.do whats best for you atm but don't let that awful feeling take you over forever.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The same thing happened to me twice, bro. I know the feels. *gives big bro-hug*

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

@OP Cheaters always blame others for their own actions, they are always "justified", and play the victim role. Dump her and grow by yourself

5 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

My ex cheated because she was paranoid about me cheating. ?????????

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Leave her

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

May I ask how long have you been absent?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

We live far apart, I've been seeing her once every week/two weeks

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Feel for you man. Mine gave up on me and didn't have it in her to tell me she didn't love me and moved on. Just accused me of something 1/

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

2/ that I didn't do. Didn't find out till she sent me a spite text with a pic of her and the guy. Take some time. Youll heal. It gets better

Confused by this- Rachel didn’t wanna kill zack, right? I thought her whole deal was she wanted him to kill her. I could be wrong.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

No, you're right, it was only when she was "activated" was she trying to kill zack

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Angels of Death!

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

My friends and my ex.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ouch

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Oof

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I loved that anime!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What was the name?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Angels of Death *

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Angel of Death. It's pretty good. I think it was also based on a game similarly titled

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Much love homie feel that pain hard

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Na bro. She's a ho. Cheaters don't do it because of stuff their partners do, they do it because they're ho's

5 years ago | Likes 364 Dislikes 29

Why are people down voting this? They're 100% right. That shit doesn't happen on accident.

5 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 7

They think you are being unreasonable for expecting people to be in control of their own actions.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Because cheating is becoming normalized and they feel guilty getting called out. It's more common than we think unfortunately.

5 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 6

Every girlfriend I ever had cheated on me. Literally every one. It's why I haven't dated in seven years

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

God damn. Maybe you have to change your type at that point.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They actually all were different types, believe it or not O.o

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

B-but she lost her footing- tripped & fell. His penis. It jus so happened to be there. 'Twas huge. Erect! She accidentally fell on his peen!

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 5

Sorry to hear, my soon to be ex-wife is a cheating whore too. Shitty feeling. Keep your head up and find someone that won't do that to you.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Better now than when you have a house and kids

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I just broke up with someone, basically felt like I was a hostage because I knew how toxic he would be when I broke up with him. I feel you.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's alright, I am better off single. :) I hope things get better for you.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Forget her, Bud. Cheaters very rarely change, and by rarely I mean never.

No judgment from me, but do you mind sharing why?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

cheating is very never like it is in porn, kid.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Same. Up until I have 24 of 25. Then I moved away and started over. Now happily married with a baby and want no one else but my husband.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Can confirm.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 7

Simply not true. I stopped when I fixed my mental problems causing the sick need for approval in the form of sex. -Everyone- evolves.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Not never. They have to genuinely believe that they are the ones who fucked up and work to fix things. That's the really rare part though.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well that's just not true, it's just what people say to feel better. But there's nothing wrong with cutting that person out of your life.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

IDK i cheated on my gf with my current wife. 15 years later...

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 9

Once a cheater always a cheater doesn't mean you always cheat, but that the person you cheated on will never see you as anything else

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I suppose, but honestly, idc. I'd rather be a cheater with my wife than not a cheater and with my gf of the time.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

But why not break up first then go after wife? It's in the past now, but I've never understood intentionally causing trauma

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Because I'm just a terrible person

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People often do the easier thing that harms someone else than do the harder thing that makes themselves uncomfortable. We suck like that.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I may be an outlier, and you can hate me all you want, but I was a cheater up til I was about 23. Then I just... stopped.

5 years ago | Likes 160 Dislikes 14

This! Young people are dumb, horny and inexperienced with relationships.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Same here. I cheated and made a mess of a relationship. Then met my current partner and have never cheated.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I would say that people that might do it before they mature could change. >25? 1 in a 1000 maybe.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I respect your openness and I agree with you, especially at that age. Young people make mistakes and are allowed to grow from them.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Situations change as do people

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Proud of you, but definitely an outlier

5 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 2

My current girlfriend could have been considered a cheater, but we discussed that we are both happier with an open relationship anyway

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

That's good, I'm glad you talked about it. My fiance has full permission to have "friends" if he wants, but I'm good.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Communication and honesty are the key to any relationship! Finding out what works best for you is the goal of it all

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I’d only believe this is a lifelong change if the person you are with currently wasn’t someone you cheated to be with.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is true. Can't say you've grown if you're in a relationship that started with the exact thing you're trying to grow from.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same, up until I was 19. Turns out I have borderline personality disorder and didn't give two shits about anyone :( 10 years no cheating!

5 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

Hey, that's my story too! Except like 6 years.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Weooo proud of you homie!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You too! Yay personal growth!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does that mean you would trust someone with your heart who you knew has cheated in the past?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

People change, cheating is much more common than you think. It's hard to judge, really. Also, don't ask questions you don't want answers to

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hmm... that's a good question. I guess it would depend a lot on who the person was and how our relationship was. But if you've grown and/

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Changed I think you deserve a chance. I have a fiance, and I was upfront about my past when we met. Every ugly, awful, crazy thing I had /

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Done I laid on the table, and he gave me a shot. So.
