My newest stunt saber. I call it the Mamushi.

This is my second completed PVC Stunt saber, the Mamushi. As you can plainly see, I modeled it after the Japanese katana.

The body is constructed entirely of PVC save for the tsuba (or handguard) just below the emitter.

I used an amber single die LED powered by a 3x AAA battery pack out if a cheapy flashlight.

I am lucky enough to have a local plastic supply company through which I can make my own polycarbonate blades.

Mamushi is a highly venomous species of snake that is indigenous to some of the islands of Japan. It is commonly compaired to the American Copperhead.

The blade color and paracord wrap help tie in the theme of the snake and of the katana.

I added some light weathering to the pommel.

Half hitch paracord wrap with a turks head knot on top and bottom.

Up to 4 hand grip allows for lots of maneuverability and fast motion.

As stated before, this is only my second completed PVC Stunt saber but I plan on making many, many more. ????

Due to the color of the LED, it isn't the brightest but it still lights up great in low light. Thanks for looking.
