Ohhh as a lefty, I remember having one of these- didn’t do shit to help and neither did the extra handwriting lessons I was forced to do after school 🤦🏼♂️
Writing in cursive are dumb and I can prove it with my grandparents and other older relatives. So many times I had to re-read what they wrote because some letters ended up looking the same or very similar. Like for example, "R" and "N", "T" and "I" when they forget to do the extra stroke for them. Print writing is better, change my mind.

I've heard of needing more lead in your pencil

And look with your left hand! I was one of those left-handed students that grew up in small town America and it was considered the devil's work

What does a weighted pencil accomplish?
RummageSaleBubbler
Keeps the pencil from floating away.

TheWonderfulWorldOfDickButt
Making the kid more excluded.

So when they drop the weights they can write at lightning speed, like in the anime.
