Cat would attack my hubs feet too. Only started later in his life. Used to make hub annoyed but he kinda misses it now. Cat passed Sept 2020
Makingsomedankfood
lmao. mine drew blood last night. stepped directly on my trachea and cut me sprinting to his auto feeder hearing his midnight snack drop

No duvet cover on your duvet ?! Sacrilege !

I close the door se my cat cant come in. But sometimes I will leave it open and she will sleep on my bed.
GINGIVITISSS
What a little muffin head ???
parabolic000
I quite literally said several dozen versions of "Hi kitty you're a kitty I love you kitty" in the first 20 seconds so.
yousersubzero13
Mine checks for"monsters" when I go to bed, then let's me sleep
d1nosawr
I get woken up 4-5 times a night. All 3 cats have their own routine. Always at half 4 for breakfast though...
vizeroy42
That's why you get at least 2 cats. They play at night and let you sleep - if there is enough food, that is.
OtterleyFabulous
Mine just stands in the corridor and meows continuously until he gets a stroke and 5 minutes of play time.
BobberAnne
He so pretty!!
CaptnVatka
The cat can't interrupt your sleep if you embrace insomnia.
evilcarp
Have you tried explaining to him that this is how you become an outside cat? Be sure an mention the coyotes that roam at night.
MedicSailor
Get it a friend to play with at night
katwilmb
I keep a can of compressed air under my pillow for just such goings on. Lucy will dash off and not bother me again ; )
Strongit
Aw. This reminds me of the cat we had growing up who would wake me up in the morning. Once in a while when I'm half asleep I can 1/2
Still feel her paws going up my back so she could get pets.
wheresthetone
Mine is exactly the same
mstkawaiikitty
Omg this picture is to real. I want to adjust my legs but my cat is always right in he way
paranoidplatinum
I have to pull my legs up to my chest and then swap them to flip over. Kitty won't budge
Also true lmao
mariavelniceriu
Adorable
PantaloonPrincess
Such a cutie
Bojovnik84
Helen, I have to do the thing.
CamillaRamstrm
Why we sleep with door closed... Ragdoll cat a' 7.5 kg/ 16.5 lbs walks ON me, from my leg to head and scream in my ear. Preferably at 2am...
coffeebaby
What breed is that cat?
IStoleALoafOfBread
Lion
Syn333
Ok we can go apeshit about the question here or just remember that there's people genuinely interested in the breed because this cat shows a
couple of interesting features like the ear brushes or the black stripe on the back + the black tail tip, which are all wild cat traits.
Right. I've never seen a domestic cat with a stripe like that.
lovemetenderlovemesweet
looks like a British shorthair
mistvan
Close the door.
rhettrow
never works, they just yowl and paw at the door all night, trust me.
LooseSeall
Eh depends on the cat and how you train them. Mine aren’t allowed in my bedroom and they don’t bother my door while I sleep.
Ours were both rescue cats, only the current cat has been able to change some of his habits.
Mine as well, 16 and 10, neither weren’t allowed in bedrooms before. One had a harder adjustment but I started by ignoring her cries and if
she continued Id spray her feet from under the door crack a little. I love my babies but I need good sleep to function well, they learned
yup. tried it for about 45 minutes one night. was worried for my door and my cats sanity lmao

Can I just see Disney movies in this format in future. I'm wondering if I'd pay more for this format than the whole film.

I like the animated version better for some reason
Psionickitten
"We" interrupt their sleep for pets so they think it's ok to interrupt our sleep for pets.
jeepgirl1963
Holy cow this had never occurred to me
probablyaporno
Huh, my cat must just be broken then. I don't interrupt her sleeps but she still interrupts my sleeps
suretoast
I find that accidentally being scared awake and launching them across the room unfortunately fixes that
verganas
One small difference is cats sleep 20 hours a day
Drunktrunkmonkey
In short intervals and they sleep lightly. They probably don't understand our sleep schedule at all.
SirDistic
I interrupt their sleep BECAUSE they interrupt mine.
SonOfKazar
And so the vicious cycle perpetuates.
GinOClock
Yup. Sun-up is the time the Fuckery Engine starts in this house...but they only wake me up if I haven't gotten up to feed them at 6

I was going to say its a viscious cycle - but its so worth it!

This was something I picked up on as a new cat owner. I don't interrupt hers and surprisingly she doesn't interrupt mine ?.
MattRexPuns
Same! When Mika's just chilling and asleep, I don't bother her. She doesn't bother me when I'm asleep either, only when I'm awake
imabigasstree
Same. I also don't pick him up when he doesn't want it, and let him jump down when ever he wants. And he's delightfully polite about it. He/
just kinda, puts one law up in the air and I know that means he wants to roll out of my arms

Play with your cat more during the day. Cat TV is a thing too and you can put it on when you're not at home. Watch some Jackson Gallaxy

This! My cat would keep me up at night meowing and playing so before bed we have playtime and now she sleeps with me!
breezybriv
My cat CANNOT WAIT until we go back to work. We’ve gotten her hiding beds and the whole shebang but fuck, just us there is driving her nuts.
She is a very affectionate kitty but she’s over us. She wants her apartment back.
SerenePrincess013
Went to work full-time for a month, & my 2 about lost their shit. They are just a touch codependent.
Yeah, mine is so much happier with me home full time. She gets to sleep on me constantly. It’s her heaven
Enol13
My cats have never even looked at the TV, they could care less no matter what’s on the tv
whatcouldgowrong
how about a nice big pair of human female breasts, not bad right?
kagwapuhan
Ah yes just what my cat loves
minuteye
1/2 The term "cat tv" usually doesn't refer to a literal tv, more things that cats can be passively entertained by.
I was referring to videos. My cat doesn't watch TV but will pay attention for the birds and squirrel. The outside doesn't have enough birds.
2/2 Think: bird feeder outside the window they sit at, or an aquarium with real or fake floating fish in it.
