SPOILER: So remember in the last episode when Leslie convinces Ron to take the job running the Pawnee National Park?

Well I think a show about the Pawnee Forest Rangers would be amazing

With Ron running the park, in same sort of filming style as Parks and Rec.

Just a thought.

FP Edit: Thanks everyone! Sorry if you hadn't finished the show. This doesn't reveal too much though, so hopefully I won't be drowned in spoiler backlash.

FP Edit 2: Realized I could edit the first image title. Gave you the spoiler you deserved. I feel a bit embarrassed. http://i.imgur.com/g9OdFAm.gif

I wonder how Ron would react to finding a staircase in the middle of nowhere?

Michael Schur has a new show coming out with Kristin Bell and Ted Danson that will be all the rage on imgur in 2021

Tuna. Canoe.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It shall be named Recreation in Parks.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This needs more upvotes

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So it'd be what parks and rec is/was but with park rangers..... I'm down for it

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anything with Ron in it is great

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love P&R, but man they don't really hide the fact that the show was filmed nowhere close to Indiana

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Tree's are not quite right, but in Southern Indiana we have some lakes like this.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hated how abruptly this show ended. They had a TON of material, and they just swept it under the carpet and said "meh, whatever".

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Eh, I think they ended it at just the right time.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And I think it should have ended sooner, after season 6. IMO Season 7 was not as good.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tuna canoe

10 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

Knew I'd find this

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd way rather watch a woodworking show with him in it than another clichéd sitcom

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm totally on board with that. But I can't deny I'm a sucker for the cliche when it's done as well as it was in Parks and Rec

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really should've added a spoiler warning, thanks a lot.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I could see him naming a couple of bears... April and Leslie.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why wouldn't they be called The Rongers?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Having found Leslie somewhat annoying at times, yes. It'd be like a Non-batshit Brickleberry.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

http://i.giphy.com/ASUpZPfkfmv6g.gif - because of my username. Though I get how you'd feel that way.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And April gets a job there

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No. It was good where it ended. Just let it be.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I would watch it as well. Also, this scene was so cute, the feels are reals.

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Do you know the name of the song that played during it?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Buddy by Willy Nelson

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You'd have to call it "Buddy"

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I also thought "Ron's Land" would be good

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i like it!! And the first episode would have to be called "Spring" where April comes to work for him!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh cute! Though April found her dream job, so I dunnoo...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

haha ya but Ron and April!!! They've got to be together!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True. April is my favorite character, so I have no issue with her being a character in this.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

GOD DAMN SPOILERS!

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Its been plenty of time.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Missed opportunity to call it "Parks".

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

To close to the original name, I thought about it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Too*

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This was the only part of the finale that made me cry. Don't ruin it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I envy the happiness you can see he has through that smile.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

FUCKING SPOILER

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

I HAVEN'T SEEN THIS EPISODE YET EITHER!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Can anyone name the song that plays as he rides the canoe by any chance.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That song choice brought tears to my eyes.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Buddy - Willie Nelson. aka the song that will play at my funeral...not to get dark, I've just thought about this before.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Indiana, hills, hahahaha, complete fiction.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My Hoosier bf saw this and was like "there's no fucking way that's in Indiana" haha

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, it's true, there is a hill. I've seen it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Southern Indiana has a lot of hills. It's where the glaciers that paved the rest of the state stopped.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. I don't remember that because I am on season 2....

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

I wish I could relive Parks and Rec again.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Live it through me. My body is ready.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Woohoo! Vicarious living.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't worry, this barely spoils anything.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

What's happening? Is he leaving the show or smtg?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

The show is over.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*sees Username* what about that?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That's just wishful thinking. Or is it? Wuahahaha

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah haha. Was she? **spoilers they were escorted out of Gary's funeral by official men but was it bc she was governor?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

**spoiler I think we aren't supposed to know if Ben or Leslie is president/governor/whatever we have in the future. The bodyguard looks 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 4 episodes in to the final season, guess I know who wins the land bid... Lol

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Did you really think they wouldn't?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, I like to live in the moment, I honestly hadn't thought about it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you know the name of the song that played during it?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Buddy - Willie Nelson

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks President knope

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It'd be half an hour of Nick Offerman paddling his canoe. Every episode.

10 years ago | Likes 399 Dislikes 0

I'd rather watch April paddling her canoe. Again.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Spoilers.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would be my favorite show. I'd DVR it to watch twice on weekends.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

"Paddle Your Own Canoe"

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Laugh with me, Buddy. Jest with me, Buddy. Don't let her get the best of me, Buddy.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't ever let me start feelin' lonely...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At least he would be paddling his own canoe.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would watch the shit out of that show. Especially if he spouts some of his philosophical wisdom occasionally.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This is a strong argument for this idea....

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's pretty much his stand up routine

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, I watched him sip whisky by a fire silently for 45 minutes, so...

10 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 0

I usually make my own sauce but in this instance I'll trade you. Sauce for upvote.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anyone notice how much more attractive Leslie got over the course of the show? She didn't even have eyebrows in the beginning.

10 years ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 0

the biggest thing for me was her hair. it was unbearably blonde then got dirtier and better by the end.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And her teeth were all wonky

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Agreed, IIRC she was pregnant during the first season and working off the baby weight in the second. She wrote a whole about it in her book.

10 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Thanks for writing a whole about the book she wrote

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You're welcome.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A whole?

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Sentence

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck, forgot to say chapter. So yes, a whole, it's a brand new unit of measurement for the written word.

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Would watch, but a lot of Ron's charm came from his relationship with Leslie and April.

10 years ago | Likes 950 Dislikes 5

It would be like the joey show or minions, its better in small quantities.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But now you'd have his relationship with bears! Plus a couple rangers in the pic there look pretty sassy.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yep, Ron was (one of) the straighmen of the show.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There are six rangers in that scene. Plenty of characters to work with. Also some of the random side characters could come back. Rad!

10 years ago | Likes 200 Dislikes 0

Bring back Tom and Jean Ralphio!

10 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

#whynosequel

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jean ralphio is exactly what I was thinking l

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Jean Ralphio is the woooorhurrrrst!~

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Absolutely agree!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This. Part of the reason they never made a Dwight spin off from the office. His charm came from his relationship with Micheal and Jim

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

In the beginning, yes. However towards the third or fourth season he started to come into his own.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's what happened with Joey from Friends. Remember his spinoff show? No? Good.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh dang I forgot about that

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guess who would guest star!!!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Indeed.

10 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

You have the best user name. Want to swap?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I dunno, yours is pretty amazing. I kind of want to wear mine for a bit longer, I only changed it a couple weeks ago.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okayyy I'll ask in a month. :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Could you please put a spoiler alert ? Some people are just discovering the show thanks to imgur.. 1

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 15

Second time I get spoiled in one of your post today. Thought, it wasn't your fault the first time ( on the awesome owl post)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

How did I spoil in the owl post?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You didn't that was someone else in the comments :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

It won't let me edit the title at this point. Already tried.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well you should have tought about it before posting. And was the downvote necessary ?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 13

I didn't downvote you. And I posted it like 5 hours ago. I'm sorry, I made a mistake.
