I saw some spray bottles. PLEASE do NOT let little kids handle agricultural chemicals!!! The LD50s are calculated using an average North American man model. Which in turn assumes a full size and fully functional liver and kidneys. Kids can get sick on much lower doses. And in the case of the kidneys, accumulate long term damage.

I’m assuming this is a repost and OP isn’t the parent. My guess is the parents aren’t gardeners and have gone to a garden centre and just picked up stuff they thought they needed. You shouldn’t use any chemicals on a wild garden. Wild flowers like nutrition poor soil so don’t need fertilisers and normally it’s done to encourage wildlife so you certainly don’t use insecticides

This is adorable, and definitely some good parenting. However, I am always a bit of two minds about content like this. A part of me feels it's cute, but another part of me feels like we really shouldn't be normalizing posting videos and pictures of kids up on the Interwebs for the untold masses to see. Or maybe I'm just an old fart still living in the Before Times, I dunno. More likely, it's 3 in the morning and my brain is not braining properly.

These aren't op's kids but I agree, sharing your kid's face online isn't safe. I'm not from the before times, I've had adults asking me to send pics online since I was 9, people are making it too easy for predators these days.
This is very far from the worst however, parents are profiting off sharing their kids online now.

If anything, you should feel scandalized about the sharing of adults' faces, because they remain recognizable for decades, if not a lifetime. Whereas pictures of children expire quickly: a kid's face becomes unrecognizable after just three or four years.

People used to be scared about kidnappers finding your home and kids, but now tech companies have scraped the Internet from everything anyone has ever posted there, so all the kid pics are in ai generators for pedophiles to use. And older kids can make fake ai "revenge-porn" with anyone's face, so it's even more dangerous than ever to post pics or videos of your kids - or yourself - online.

We have a roleplay community where we take internet safety very seriously, everyone is given a little course about keeping their PII to themselves, and if they decide to share it anyway, they are going to be heavily discouraged but we can’t force them (it’s on Discord). People usually leave out their faces or censor them when showing pictures they took. Unfortunately many people in the world don’t know about the kind of crazies that lurk on the internet so they dont think to be careful.

No, you definitely have a valid point. This kid has no idea mom and dad are putting her online and that's messed up. So many nutjobs out there who could become obsessed with her and think they have some sort of entitlement to her and the UK really isn't that big if you're trying to find someone. Especially when there's so much info about them online. This shouldn't be the norm. Protect your kids' privacy!
