leads damaging effects on the brain is well documented. this could explain why so many gym bros are kinda stupid and aggressive.

Part of the problem is cacao likes to grow in volcanic soil, which has higher heavy metal contents.
heyletsbefriends
this is a cocoa problem, not protein powder problem

fun fact! most protein powders are made in china. friend works inspections at one of our ports. seen every name brand and type of product you can imagine. chinas favorite things are stuff that is unregulated / not tested thoroughly. like protein powders, supplements, and other such things. he told me about all the powders hes seen. this was around the time of the baby food thing. he told me they test the baby food better then this stuff so imagine what your eating. stopped eating this after that

The only solution to this is to abolish the FDA. /someMAGAclansman

Well then fuck me, eh? While I don’t have any of those whey protein powder products, I’ve got a box or two of chocolate Soylent. I’d sure like to know if this product on my shel is safe to consume or if it needs to be tossed. Without actionable information, like a list of products to avoid, shut the fuck up and stop rattling our cage, CNN!

This certainly explains the Joe Rogan Podcast crowd.

Plausible speculative mechanism: Grinding a fine powder has opportunity to wear down the surface of the machine being used, adding some powder of whatever alloy the machine is made from. So decent chance any food ground to a powder is contaminated. Gotta figure out a way to sift out metals after powdering.
TresusIbor
Wouldn't you want to use a grinding contact surface that isn't lead, then?
BadPunsAplenty
Bro do you even grift?
newsguycraigevans
Might explain why all the dudebros are all in on politics lately
LeekofLegend
Allegedly it was the cadmium in some of the paints that affected van gogh
MendoncycleSmith
Cool, now just keep it that way, and let the MAGA social media influencers keep selling that shit to their unsuspecting supplicants, and maybe they'll all just die?
yikesaroni
this explains so much
zanaria
Well clearly they just made a mistake and added the wrong metal to the powder... /s
