I'm picking back up where I left off clearing out some of the memes I spent a frankly absurd amount of time organizing into folders on my phone. As always, I Hope you all enjoyed.
I used to post all of the links to my past posts below but the ends of these posts were getting a bit unwieldy. So, at the risk of overcomplicating things I've made a few (sometimes pretty loosely) categorized repositories of my past posts if you'd like to see more I'll link to those below.

#26 Fuck corn, I can kinda see that, but carrots?!?!?
ZeRootOfAllEvil
#1: As if the Republican Party would have an Asian, an African and/or a South American!

#26 I liked in California for a decade and I don't believe I ever saw a pizza with avacado on it. I was in the Bay Area
MosaicManticore
#26 No one is putting corn on pizza here i promise
hnngh
Corn and cheese are delicious so I can see how it would be good on a pizza...but fucking carrots? Hell to the nah.
I also grew up in California and never saw avocado on a pizza. I could get behind a carnitas pizza with avocado though....
hyptosis
t... tuna.. there was a tuna one....
hugyourhedgehog
I was kinda wondered if maybe I was missing out on something amazing lol
But it sounds like, reading other comments as well, the people actually in these states have never seen pizzas like this, so I wonder how they got to these conclusions.

Honestly, i'd take Captain Pollution over Ronald Reagan.
RoamingEast
thats like saying you'd take Batman over Bruce Wayne.
mechscientist
So someone proficient in asskickings over someone with the power (and will) for systemic change? yeah, i am sticking with it.

#26 - I'm from Minnesota. Fucking tuna? No. I've lived here for 52 years and I've never seen tuna on a pizza. Was the polling size one individual who lives in the attic of a house where the owners aren't aware of his presence? Tuna. Goddamn- Get the fuck out. Anchovies? Fine. Not the most popular, but some people like it. Tuna? This one thing makes me doubt the whole map. I heard that Florida actually likes sugar frosted dicks on their pizza. It's more of a crepe, though.
DoveLeiger
Upvoting for sugar frosted dicks. I don't even care if it's a typo, my new favorite insult is, "You probably like sugar frosted dicks on your pizza."
bobisslack
I am proud to finally have a legacy. And it was my entire intention to write "sugar frosted dicks".
Sandboom
#26 Sweetcorn is a great pizza topping. Carrot on the other hand... Is New Mexico doing ok?
Tootsie1
I lived in PA for years. Pepperoni is everyone's favorite topping. Have no idea where they got corn from.
DietCokeIsMyDrugOfChoice
Did no one see that TUNA is the favorite in Minnesota?!
Noevilgifs
Avacado in az....
I guess with a taco pizza maybe?
Bjt at the 5 different pizza places ive gone to here none of them offer avacado
aRabidGerbil
As a Californian, I have never once seen avocado even offered as a topping, much less chosen.
I don't doubt that some.place out there does it, but I'm very suspicious of the data this map is based on.
sadurdaynight
I'm waiting for the civil war to start, because then it will be my time to shine as a middle-aged white man with a goatee, sunglasses, and semi-balding buzzcut. I'll be able to infiltrate the enemy like a ninja, gather intel, and report back to the resistance.
VirtualGT
As someone who lived in Texas this is the exact stereotype, except I would use thinning hair or bad haircut. All were chain smokers, loud AF when they talked and always told of confrontation stories where they came out on top. And all were fired for being massive PITAs to manage
eggmuffin
#10 Lead poisoning.
Political maps of the US are interchangeable with maps of environmental lead contamination.
Lead poisoning makes us angry, easily manipulated, stupid, paranoid reactionaries. Gee, that's familiar...

#10 They're getting old and cannot compute that world is progressing and that they are losing control and cannot keep up. So they make up these stories in their heads where they be the victim and halt any progress because they cannot accept change.
JayDeeDubs
And despite the low cost back when they were young, the proportion of the demographic with a college degree is significantly lower

In addition all the untreated trauma are catching up and causing their brains go wild because back then psychiatrist were a taboo and known as "shrinks" so they instead have been forced to carry all their shit with them and we're here on the receiving end now.
DietCokeIsMyDrugOfChoice
I think we've been on the receiving end for a long while. :(
eggmuffin
It's lead poisoning.

#11 Sept 2024 when they were still advocating for the orange fuck on facebook etc. Parents and brother along with his wife and kids. "History will not look kindly upon you."
It really sucks being right.

#35 I assume they made the announcement for EACH war criminal's plane.
byronwilliams4010
#26 My only question about corn is why it's popular on the East coast and not the Midwest.
CatHateDogDogLoveCat
#26 yo Minnesota what the fuck?!
zafner
#26 Yeah no
nukemall
#35 - not sure which of the planes they are referring to... could be either one.

#26 Corn is the line, but fucking TUNA is acceptable?! *knocks everything off the desk and leaves*
nevumx
I was more concerned about the carrots, honestly...
DoveLeiger
If you tune the whole pizza for a tuna casserole on crust vibe, I'd try it. Maybe with a tangy garlic alfredo sauce and lots of cheese. *tidies up the desk*
SleazyBijou
Tuna pizza is a thing in Europe - well, France - I saw it in France. Its not terrible - I wouldn’t order it for myself. We were in a group setting - don’t judge me.
MagicBandAid
But we're ignoring carrots?
Mikoshaman
Moved around a bunch as a kid (military bases in Europe) every sort of seafood would end up on pizzas near Naples Fish markets. Mussels and fennel pie was eye raising, but worked out fine.
Kingoftheblind
Tuna is one of the OG toppings and you will find it on traditional pizza in Italy everywhere. Especially in combination with onions.
ignotoCiResto
^ this one. tuna, onion (raw or flambed) and black olive is one of the most light and tasty pizza. For those that want a more... filling pizza they ask for gorgonzola cheese too. Never had it with the blue cheese, but I've a friend that swear by it.

#26 as someone born and raised in New Mexico, carrots are not involved in pizza, in any way. Pineapple, sure! Green chili? Fuck yeah! Carrots? No. Someone's fucked with the infographic.
Tomigami
#24 It's also dogmatically inconsistent. Boomers (and "boomers") LOVE to complain about how much harder they had it - fuck, *I* like complaining about that and I'm a millennial. But you don't have a leg to stand on if things are harder for the next generation. Nobody wants to hear about working 10 hour days once they bring back indentured servitude.
They should be fighting tooth and nail for a pure utopia just out of contrarian spite, and we'd laud them for it.

#22 Toothpaste proceeds to blow up the plane.
LittleChickadee
The literal 1st week of this stupid liquid ls ban, my buddy, who is a chemical engineer, was flying back to the US from Scotland, and she almost got arrested by security after being told she couldn't take her chapstick onto the plane. She was ready to break out a white board & explain why, from a chemical standpoint, chapstick is NOT A FUCKING LIQUID! LOL nerd
tinydog
Back in 2008 my then wife and I flew across the country with our infant and 2-year-old. We had baby formula packets, and the number of bottles pre-filled with water. TSA wouldn't let us through, and they flagged me for "enhanced screening". They took me aside, made me wait in this isolated little cubicle, patted me down, rubbed little swabs or cloths on me to do bomb residue testing or some nonsense, and of course made me dump out all of our baby bottles in the trash. I was livid.
tinydog
We almost missed our flight, after having to sprint through the airport with our 2-year-old to refill the bottles in a bathroom before heading to the gate. Ridiculous, ham-fisted, disruptive and ineffective policies.
doctorId
#3 I heard someone say once that dystopian fiction is what you get when you take things that happen to people all over the world every day and apply them to people with privilege and I've never been able to argue against that. Like if you think what's happening in the U.S. now is bad, hold onto your butts cause there's ample proof of how much worse it can get if the only privilege you have now is non-material.

#20 for people wondering why this would be a low point... Lovecraft was a massive racist, even for the times.
SergeantGoodTimes
He was not racist. He had a perfectly reasonable fear of those unspeakable Congo secrets.
zaxlor
If I was drinking something, I would have spit it out! haha~ Man, that's such a good way of describing it :D
Ivain
So basically, he thought other ethnicities were lesser and whatnot, but didn't think that made it okay to rob them blind.
TattoosAndTENS
No defense for Lovecraft. However, modern media utilizes Lovecraft's "formula" - there's the Educated White Man, who is Best; then there's the Noble Lower Races, who aren't as good but are still regular normal people; then there's the Horrors who camouflage themselves by appropriating cultural trappings of Noble Lower Races. The fake "tribe" based on Sawney Beane in 'Bone Tomahawk' is the PERFECT example. Every time folks say a white guy is a LizardPerson, they're doing a Lovecraft.
TattoosAndTENS
Ps Even in Lovecraft, the Noble Lower Races disavow the Horrors: avoiding them, ostracizing them, warning others to stay away. A SHADOW of this was prominently featured at the beginning of 2025's "Sinners", where Indigenous riders chase a Horror to the home of KKK members - their warnings went unheeded because of Hate. Truly, a Lesson for the Ages.
SergeantGoodTimes
These are interesting insights, thanks for sharing.
TattoosAndTENS
Thank you
My favorite Lovecraft Conspiracy Theory is that his friendgroup of almost universally gay or bisexual dudes kept trying to explain homosexuality to him but he just didn't get it.
Lovecraft was jealous that his male friends would hang out and smoke hash without him. He thought they were "exploring Universal Mysteries". Nobody had the heart to tell him.
Read "The Space-Eaters" by longtime friend Frank Bellknap Long. "Howie" is HP Lovecraft. That is how his CLOSE FRIENDS saw him.
TattoosAndTENS
RIP August Derleth, you were a strange man, but nobody can help who they fall in love with.
SergeantGoodTimes
I read "The Space-Eaters" at your suggestion, and found it to be extremely blatant who the characters are meant to be. It pretty much tracks. Also, it was just a cool story.
TattoosAndTENS
My second favorite Lovecraft Conspiracy Theory is that he had WEIRD teeth. The man NEVER smiled in photos. He wrote "The Outsider" about himself. My money is on needle teeth like the Fish Aliens in Doctor Who's "Vampires of Venice".
