All eyeless except one. One, with a single eye to watch over and rule them all. (For added effect, move the eye between dolls daily. Let them share it like the Fates.)

In the bathroom of the blind, the one-eyed doll is...

The one doll in the room....

My cousin had a porcelain doll collection .
Her room was nightmare fuel

My grandmother had a doll in the bathroom whose dress hid the extra roll of paper.

And then you open the fridge.

Years ago I visited a retired coworker in her home. One wall of her living room was set up like bleachers, packed with 50-100 dolls. I certainly reacted when I saw it but she sat me so I wasn't facing the dolls. Every now and then I had to turn around to take in the dolls. It was one of the strangest things I've ever experienced.

As an Aussie I only really know about spiders in bathrooms:
GOOD: Not seeing a spider in the bathroom
BAD: Seeing a spider in the bathroom
WORST: No longer seeing a spider in the bathroom

I have three childhood dolls with sentimental value displayed in my library. (Two of them are American girl dolls.) I KNEW that when my Egyptian friend came over for the first time she was gonna make a comment about white people and their creepy dolls, and I was right.

My grandmother used to have a toilet paper cozy doll in the bathroom. One of my cousins thought it would be funny to paint the eyes with lipstick. They couldn't get all of the lipstick off. They kept the doll there though. So imagine shitting while a doll with blood red eyes is staring at you.

The timing is impeccable, I just watched the Conjuring series for the first time

Obviously the doll room is gonna have one single doll, sat upon a dining chair, with one other dining chair facing it, and absolutely nothing else. Bare walls, bare floor, no furniture.

The creepiest Doll Room would be without any dolls at all. Once someone steps in, you just quietly slip in after them, lock the door and then go: "Well, hello to your new home, my dear doll. I have been expecting you." I'm quite sure bricks would be shat.

The creepiest doll room would be one where additional dolls suddenly appear in the room while you are in it and your back is turned.

Or sheer subbie glee.

A room called the doll room, with just a broken seat of doll size shackles and claw makes all over the walls.

The doll's room would be more terrifying.

I don't know why, but somehow an attic filled with eyeless dolls seems the creepiest iteration to me

Honestly, just a room with a bunch of dolls in it is creepy. It's the kind of thing you see in an early scene of a horror movie.

What about a room filled with eyeless dolls that you can only access through a crawlspace door that's been wallpapered over?

On the ceiling of the bedroom

Eyeless dolls - basement: Eh, probably fine. Eyeless dolls- Attic: D:

Eyeless dolls are pretty neat If you have a yard with a tree in it. Just hang em all in the tree and nobody will bother you.

Well, I mean... where do YOU put your eyeless dolls? The kitchen? Like a barbarian?

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Don't be absurd, I hang them upside-down in my shed, next to the skinning knives, as God intended

back porch, that's visible from anywhere with windows. Maybe in a bedroom but not where you'd expect, like under the bed.

I feel like eyeless doll shrine in the closet would be worse.

I also want to know where all the eyes went

On the inside of the bathroom door, they open when you sit down.

Put the closet in the attic, prominently placed in the center because it's the only place the peak of the roof is tall enough, and the door has a broken latch so it creeks open ominously when the air moves.
This has been a lovely creative collaboration.

Also, we're not sure it's THE eyes, but there are rows of jars filled with doll eyes in a hollow under the garden shed

The single doll in The Doll Room has them all.

I was looking at a Zillow the other day that had a really nice layout, totally normal gorgeous interior, but in the library area there was not one, but TWO of those stupid little windup cymbal-clapping monkeys on the top shelf. That's a big nope for me dog.

What is a ballroom for? Balls?

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of course. Where do you keep yours?

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The answer is obvious, and ominous

Any kid growing up in the 70's will remember this at their grandmothers house:

You know what, let's bring this back. Having guests over is a pain I don't want anyone feeling welcome

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

so in short dolls in the bathroom don't bother me.

3 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As I just posted, it will when that doll has red eyes.

I always thought it was silly they way certain generations would try to hide toilet related items, in a room specifically set aside for pooping.

3 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Except it wasn't hiding the toilet related items because my grandmother had one of these and the TP under it never got used. There was also a regular roll of TP next to the toilet while TP Barbie stared at you.

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

we don't talk of pooping in this house hold!

The toilet paper was wrapped and off limits.
