After completing the main quest I rose up and killed every house/tribe leader I needed to grovel to to save their asses.

I get so confused Altmer, Aldmer, Dunmer, Dwemer, Draugr, Dremora, Daedra...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

High Elf, Proto-Elf, Dark Elf, Dwarf (Deep Elf), Angry Viking Zombie, Humanoid Daedra, Gods that didn't make the world

How about the true victims of the Dunmer? The Argonians.

That poor Argonian Maid

Khajiit too

The commona tong were essentially dunmer "nationalists" not really the best example of morrowinds diverse culture. House Hlallu loves guests

9 years ago | Likes 141 Dislikes 4

I read that as House Holla

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

House Hlallu loves money, and n'wahs have money.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Morag Tong just killed people.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

House Dres loves 'guests'.

To be fair the stormcloaks and the grey quarter weren't exactly skyrims ideal group for acceptance of outsiders either.

9 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 1

Problem is stormcloaks object to outsiders on the basis of race. In morrowind people would treat a dunmer just the same.

Kurwa?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

We get it, everybody is an asshole at one point

9 years ago | Likes 255 Dislikes 2

It’s too much work to hate people one by one.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ONE point??

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

I think that everyone starts out good as a blank slate & then life happens & we all have this one moment which makes us an asshole.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

*imperial spies, we're all imperial spies at some point.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Could be the same specific Dunmer, too, given their life spans.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In their defense, they don't actually hate you for your race. They shit talk you, call you an outlander and an Nwa even if you're a dunmer.

9 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 3

Unless you roll an argonian or kajit of course

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nigga wit attitude?

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

You know it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

thats how BAD they are. if you are a dunmer who has been away for too long you are no longer dunmer enough for them

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

people who're not from there. Doesn't make it a good thing, of course, but at least they're not racist... I guess? :X (2/2)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

as opposed to the nords who...dont like outsiders?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The difference is that the Vvardenfell Dunmer are mean towards outsider dunmer as well. The Skyrim Nords aversity is aimed at Non-Nords.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dunno, I think it's more an 'outsider' thing. Vvardenfell is just a small part of the Dunmer province of Morrowind, so they dislike all (1)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You N'wah!

*stab stab*

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone who didn't play Morrowind can someone fill me in

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

On what? the morrowind dunmer hate everyone that isnt from morrowind

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you play as non-dunmer, everyone calls you n'wah (outlander).

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

they do if you're dunmer too, you're the wrong sort of dunmer.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So they are just total assholes then, like all mer scum!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oddly relevant.

How?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I can't remember what the political situation with morrowind was weren't they basically tameriels Hawaii?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yea. I think you're thinking summer isles. morrowwind would jave been middle east imo.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

More like India imo.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's even funnier when you realize that the dunmer are generally the longest lived race, so many of the ones alive during Morrowind 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Some of them explicitly are alive in Skyrim, actually. You meet most of them on Solstheim.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 could still be alive in Skyrim.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's theoretically possible the PC from Tes4, is the Dragonborn if you chose Dunmer for both.

9 years ago | Likes 0 Dislikes 0

(Idk about Tes3, there's all sorts of rumors about where the Neravarine goes) {And [SPOILER] Tes2's continuity requires the PC dies}

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought the champion of Kvatch becomes Sheogorath after the events of Shivering Isles. His dialogue in Skyrim pretty much admits that.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Right... that business... I forgot about that. :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For headcanon purposes, you could say the 'new' Sheo replaced the champion with a body double. With how involved they (can) become with

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

< the rest of the Princes, whom all hate Sheo/Jyggalag, it makes sense that one might want to hide any open invitation to attack since the
