These pieces can be a set...

Made with quilled paper pieces and rust.
Very rippled wax surface- the colors are made with wool fiber embedded in the wax.
Stenciled surface, oil pastels for color and metal findings.
As the wax is heated on the surface, the colors start to blend and swirl.
this one has walnut ink added to give it the brown splashes.
More blending wax colors. I'm so happy I finally got frames for all of these pieces...
