Good ol’ Broken Ring!
SheepySleepySmuggler
For the love of god, kill it, kill it with fire. Think of all the time you can avoid troubleshooting if it is faulty by ensuring it is faulty. If you really want to pretend to troubleshoot the token ring, just walk along a corridor banging a wall randomly.
cosinewave
Probably from the 90s when Token Ring was converted to UTP. I was not aware that 3Com even made TR hardware let alone MAUs.
Adester
Turn off the lights. If you look very carefully, you can see the token racing through the cables from computer to computer.
HippoTel
I hated having to find the token when it popped out of the ring.
silvermayne
If you tied a knot on the end of a type 1 cable it would keep the token inside the ring.

Token Ring. Now that's a name I have not heard in a long time...

Oh the days of sneaking around and adding or removing a random terminator to get out of work...
