Akan Ritchson looks a whole different person now. But I still picture him being a lovable idiot in "Blue Mountain State". The episode about "oil changes" was hilarious
Arrows so deadly they make modern missile tech look like a slingshot with a wet noodle. High-velocity medieval justice served with extra penetration - history's original precision weapon just entered the chat.
See, I like this. Too many movies have arrows stick in like, three inches. Arrows have exceptional penetrations. This is a bit crazy, but that's clearly supposed to be a very high draw weight bow, so I'll accept it. But even a lower weight, well I've seen arrows go straight through a deer if they don't hit bone.
Yeah, bows can get up to a crazy pull weight. Old friend's brother was a giant of a man, like the kind of guy people told stories about how strong he was. We used to try and draw his bow just fucking around, and very few of us could even draw it. No way I could have hunted with it, let alone practiced for any length of time. Archeologists can often tell professional bow users' remains because the shoulders are different due to the incredible training and muscle built up.
I'm sure a lot of people playing Ghost of Yotei right now are doing similar things to guards in towers. I booted up Tsushima last night, I may have a bow affinity. Have another Nazi killing gif
Sensei Ishikawa is such a cool character though. I am indeed a swordsman first and foremost but I guess I'm more of a combat Archer, like idgaf about setting off traps and stuff, but I like to use it fast and quick with sword blows. Happy samurai experience, it's truly a legendary game
dex is a good investment, even if you have heavy armor proficiency! higher initiative, better saves against spells and explosives, helps you get out of jail
Yeah that show is so much fun. I love the scene where he gets jumped in a parking lot by a biker gang and he just grabs a guy's chain and clotheslines a guy right off of his motorcycle.
Yep. In another words, the movie that made sure Henry Cavill played James Bond. You see, in the movie, which is based on true mission that happened, is also dude name Ian Flemming, the author of James Bond, who served in the war as higher up. He, after war, made the novels and based the character on elite soldiers/SAS members and one of the biggest inspiration was this mission leader...portrayed by Henry Cavill. So Cavill doesnt just play Bond, he plays the guy other Bond actors try to be like

There is a scene in the movie where someone else is playing with the bow and they can't even come close to drawing it

Just picked up GoTsu myself recently. Archery is not great, but its better than the alternative usually.

... throws down very effective weapon and ammunition just before going into more battle... It's okay, the grip will get them later.

If you haven't seen the rest of the movie just shortly after this short ends he shows his preference isn't ranged combat in an intimate way.

Before I knew Alan Ritchson was, I first thought this was a buffed up Micheal shanks.
But to my credit I was barely paying attention while cooking supper.

Blue Mountain State baby. Loved him as Thad and where it first saw him.
AgamemnonsMemes
I love when you see him in interviews and stuff he's clearly actually just Thad Castle in real life
AgamemnonsMemes
The new fans think of him as Reacher, but the OGs know he's actually Thad Castle

Met Micheal Shanks at comic con in London a few years ago, he is very buffed up. Indeed.
cdlong
Shanks is already buffed up, seriously, have you seen that guy?
servingwithtg
He crushes it in “Reacher”
xeoxion
Yes. Way better than the CS asshole cruise.
Third season all the fight scenes with the mountain were him not a stunt double. The bitch slap scene knocked the hell out of him.
The scene where he gets out thru the wall and table knocked him out and off for days.
This was a great movie too.
Oh he’s 6’4 240 lbs. just like Donny /s

Yeah. Saying that Tom Cruise looks like he could 'kill a girl with one hit' made me laugh, audibly, in the theater.

The film is “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” if you wanna know.
Agatsu74
It was pretty disappointing IMHO, which is a shame, especially considering it's a Guy Ritchie movie. It felt like it was written by a 15 y.o.

Definitely a fun flick. Based on a true story "Operation Postmaster" which was thought up by Ian Flemming, portrayed by Freddie Fox in the film.

Thanks I'll look it up. Heard of it. Is it like Kingsman? If so, sold
aznanimality
It's a lot more similar to Inglorious Basterds than Kingsman. If you liked Inglorious Basterds you'll like this one.
GravyEducation
MrE158
Somewhat less fantastical than Kingsman, as it's (loosely) based on the historical actions of the Special Operations Executive in WWII.
IrishRover
It follows a lot of the same themes as Kingman. Fast paced, witty, and uniquely shot action scenes. If you like Kingsman, this is up your alley.
