Stopped for gas and this guy had 8 golden retrievers in his truck. He said 2 of them were the mom and dad and the rest were all their puppies.

I'm sure there's a country song about a truck bed full of blondes.
anitabieror6
ppl bitching about them being in the back. Live a little. you can go a dogs entire life without getting in a wreck. it happens a lot

Litterally, a truckload of happiness
CorgisButtsDriveMeNuts
How do they make sure dogs don't jump out?
thepriceisrightbitchez
I have two and they are my shadows. I cannot imagine having this many following me around all day. At least once a week I trip over one sitting behind me while I am in the kitchen and one day it's going to take me out.
xenopus
I mean, if you don't regularly trip over your goldens, are they really real?
mak10z
livin the dream. I hope they have a lot of room to run and play together :)
JohnWickdidnothingwrong
...and then they put them in several enclosed cars and drove slowly home.
waxingunpoetic
Omg I love your name
maxthemagician
Super irresponsible asshole. One crash and you have 8 dead dogs
Magpiebones
Or they hop from the truck bed into the traffic one day.
Dalael
I dont know who downvoted you but you are right. Heck when i was in my 20's i had my dog in my car and at a stop she jumped out the window. I bought a harness soon after.

8 brain cells.
Incalculable happiness.
HandoB4Javert
And what about the doggos?
DukatNaranek
Oh please. They all share the same one brain cell.
RockKickass
Why not go to the shelter and save a life instead of buying? Hate to be the downer here but every time I see something like this I think of all the good boys and girls being euthanized every day. When you buy you’re also encouraging the breeder to keep doing it.

Cuties at the QT!
Scobragon
I hope they don't travel in the truck bed.
quintessentialrob
With 8 dogs, they would have to have them ride in the back. I'm just hoping they've been well trained and that the driver is cautious. Even then it's a risk, so they likely don't make trips like this often
ChaopsPyramydBuylderCompany
I mean... Probably?
Spiffytown
Only bitches ride inside /s
johnblood616
Real cute til he gets in a wreck...
VodkaReindeer
I see why you guys need such big trucks.
normalizebeingalone
Hip dysplasia. All of em. Look I love goldens, as a child my family bred goldens. They spent the time researching family trees and drove out of state to try and avoid issues. They were the best dogs. But they all ended up with hereditary issues down the line. Even if you "do breeding right" its still not great.

Also we didnt do it as a puppy mill we were a regular mid/low income home with dogs that sometimes got pregnant. I think we sold them for a few hundred each. Heavily vetted people. 1 was born with issues (lost an eye) and we gave him away for free to a really great family that sent us photos for years.
unluckyandbored
This is the only acceptable reason for a normal person to own one of those huge trucks.
ColonKoala
This is what happens when you have a litter and don't adopt away any of the puppos
Gindipple
That's a lot of food he must need. I'm sure they are a great joy for him, too many for me though
drunkbs
The owner can just sell the fur coat that they collective shed every week.
Zuegma197777
I have 2 big dogs n it's like $35 every 10 days.
Isthe4thtimethecharm
Food, I can't imagine the vet bills. My pitbull in her last couple of years cost me over $200 a month just for meds and food.
ElusiveThing
Yeah, all the obligations pile up really fast! Takes some real dedication to properly take care of one dog, let alone eight.
Isthe4thtimethecharm
I can't imagine giving them all the attention they deserve.
ElusiveThing
Sadly my very, very aggressive allergy to dogs has picked up in my adult years (I had no issues when my family always had dogs), so I can't really have one. But just one would be so delightful...
