There is one downside to having a case with a black interior: It requires more light to work in. After decades of cases with grey interiors, this was a bit of a surprise to me, although I should have realized this beforehand.
Only by using the bloatware-bordering-on-malware nVidia software, and even when I tried that it didn't fully shut off. At least with this card (1070, still handling everything fine as I never got a 4K monitor)
I was so annoyed when I realized that a new-to-me GPU had a tiny bit of LED illumination (just the letters GTX on the side), because it shone through one of the side vents on the case. I made sure that there is absolutely none of this nonsense on my current PC.

Holy bajeebus. More than a few hours practicing pin stripes, I'd say.

Awesome. Awesome to the max.

The one dude who does this for Rolls-Royce is a master of this. My hands get all shaky just watching

When he was doing the white of the eye, I wondered which metal band’s logo it was.

Man, I will never be this chill. I was anxious just watching the whole time and it wasn’t even my responsibility to not mess up

Literally the only things that light up in my PC are things where I can't turn the lights off. So, video card and mobo currently!
VodkaReindeer
I'd be that you could turn off the lights at least on the video card.

Nope, it was not possible on this card. Believe me, I looked into it.
