Eddie Bunker wasn't in the film, but Jon Voight's character was based on Eddie in real life. Eddie also played Mr. Blue in Reservoir Dogs.

Absolutely. I think he’s one of the more accurate depictions of a hitman too. No weird code or his own rules that he follows; just someone who simply doesn’t care about human life

And the way they telegraph the ending right at the start. It comes full circle. Brilliant performances by Fox & Cruise, and *fantastic* urban cinematography, even the use of digital over film gives it this whole other vibe. A truly classic piece of cinema

It feels slick and grimy all at the same time. Theres so many great moments that defy expectation. And god damn the chemistry between Jamie Foxx and Jada at the beginning is palpable
