Carmel is the best and cancer sucks

Switched our girl to liquid pain meds since she wasn’t eating the pills. Surgery isn’t an option given the location of jaw bone cancer and we’re just letting her tell us when she’s ready to go. But she’s reacting so well to the new meds and jumping around, playing, eating, etc. I snuggled her for a bit and now she’s back in her bed to sleep.
