Nope, they are. That type of prosthesis is held on by a pin that engages with a lock. You hit a button on the lock and the whole leg just pops off. It’s called Pin-Lock Suspension. You can see his pin sticking out the end of his leg
My neighbour's dad has a prosthetic leg. Her (sweet but very overenthusiastic) dog bowled into him from behind and managed to hit the button as it knocked him down, before pouncing on him on the ground and licking all over his face. He had to have help getting the dog off. (He said later that it was kind of terrifying because if the dog had wanted to hurt him rather than love on him, there was absolutely nothing he could have done to stop it.)
