For a couple years after Obergefell, strangers would say “congrats” to me and my partner when we were out walking hand-in-hand. For a while, it felt like the area where I felt safe holding hands with my partner was expanding rapidly. It hasn’t shrunk to 90s era size, but the safe zone now feels a lot smaller than it did in 2015.
It has ;-( the former ambassador from USA told the press, that he and his mann came back to Denmark "Becouse they could walk down the most busy streets in the main capital, hand in hand, and No-one as in No One ever looked at them"...
I was randomly flipping through the AM channels in my car purely out of boredom and the first channel my auto-scan landed on was an individual wondering why gays can be proud but straights can't, and I spent the rest of the day trying to comprehend their misunderstanding.
I’ll be honest (as a cis gay man). At my first Pride Parade (Denver ‘84), it was odd to me to consider being proud to be gay. I mean, I was born this way. Am I proud to be a man? Proud to be White? I just didn’t feel it. I understand Pride better now; it’s more like not being ashamed. And I’m proud to be in good company.
And that pissed off a bunch of people who just LOVE to stick their noses into other peoples lives. Because it is against THEIR rules, they decide that OTHER people shouldn't be allowed to enjoy their lives. I don't care which religion you are, YOUR rules don't dictate what others can or can't do. Happy Pride to one and all !!
Conservatives wants small goverment; it really should only deal with three things: Use every penny available to buy weapons, forbid everything they consider "icky" in people's bedroom in the name of Jesus but at the same time protect pedophiles at all cost (as long as they are rich).
June 26, 2015, Obergefell v. Hodges, I was 35 by the time it was legal for me to marry June 26, 2003, Lawrence v. Texas, I was 24 before it was legal for me to have sex

The fact that it took until 2015 to make same-sex marriage legal, is fucking insane - and people are still trying to undo it. >:'(

And all it took to undo it was one day of apathy from 38% of eligible voters.

When the fuck is your birth , 11:00am on the 26th??
DYLANLEE79
You know you're an "age" for a whole year right? Like you would say "I was 20 when 9/11 happened." Even though your birthday isn't ON 9/11.
heptadecagram
Read OC’s comment carefully, where they are inconsistent ages on the same day of the year
AdOculos
I think the comment was bc 15-3 = 12 but 35-24 = 11.
AdOculos
For the exact same day in June, 12 years apart.
