My father in law was a hard right nutjob and dilbert fan. On his deathbed and his last day of consciousness we came in the room and he was watching Rachel Maddow; Something he never would have done. Too little too late but he eventually attempted to see things from another point of view, finally.
He's saying two separate things here, neither of them are good... "I wish to maximize the mockery Biden suffers by delaying my own announcement." "I hope people aren't as nasty to me as I hope they are to Biden." This guy is a real piece of shit.
Was prostate cancer the one scientists were on the verge of curing before Trump cut all their funding? If it is, then doesn’t that seem like quite the coincidence? If not, then Trump’s still a huge butthole doing his best to kill people
“Once you go public, you’re just the dying cancer guy.” No, Mr. Adams; once again, you’ve missed the point.
Being the ‘dying cancer guy’ happens when people are sympathetic to you. Biden isn’t *just* the dying cancer guy, in part because he oversaw complicity in genocide, but we have some sympathy for an old man who may have been doing his “best”. Mr. Adams, however, is a dying fascist who shat on his own legacy; who gives a shit? Call me when Jim Davis (or Bill Fucking Waterson!) falls ill.
Biden is NeoLiberal, which is a complicated term, but an accurate simplification for this context is that it means his morality is for sale to the majority opinion. I wonder how much his complicity is due to the average Democrat voter not actually being very liberal at all, but only performatively liberal Like, the overton window keeps shifting to the right. Democrats as a party (not all the voters and not all the politicians mind you) are right wing, they're just way LESS right than Republicans
When I say performatively liberal, I mean they talk about equality and freedoms and whatnot, but then they go out and buy up ghettos and gentrify them, displacing impoverished communities and making it even harder for them to survive. They talk about trans rights but when their candidate loses to Trump again, they're suddenly throwing trans rights under the bus. I've stopped calling myself a Democrat because I've realized Democrats don't have my back as an impoverished trans woman.
100% true, and true for Democrats since AT LEAST Bill Clinton and his ‘third way’ moderate platform. It’s not a “both sides bad” thing, so much as it is “the only side seeming to be interested in good as more than a platitude, is mostly bullshitting about it.” Like, it’s better by far than the Republican alternative, but not by nearly enough, and if it’s not clear by now, the Democrats are not gonna fucking save us.
My heart goes out to you as an ally to the cause (freedom and justice for all, except those who wish to take those things from others). It’s a tough time to try to critique the opposition (because the administration is just so fucking awful itself), but it must be done. They’ve been fucking up the game with neoliberal compromise (just as you said) for at least like, forty goddamn years.

I hate cancer. I may greatly disagree with people but I don’t cancer on anyone.

I used to like Dilbert. Kind of hard to separate the artist from the art when the artists doesn't separate the two.

Hopefully, he's able to personally feel how vile the comment about was that Don Jr. made regarding Joe Biden's cancer prognosis.

Fuck him I hope it hurts the entire time he is dying.

Hope they pass at the same time so noone notices his death and it's overshadowed by biden's.
