In addition to that, there is a significant portion of the public that absolutely loves this, and then an additional portion that at least tolerates it.This doesn't evaporate into nothingness when Trump is gone, as much as people would apparently like to believe that everything will be fine and dandy as long as the democrats win the next election. If 5-10% of the working population collaborated and decided to withhold their labor in an organized general strike, the entire country would grind to a halt and the current administration would be forced to acquiesce to whatever demands were set with zero violence. It takes time to build the massive organization in numerous states needed to affect change. European countries are tiny and government is centralized. 100,000 March on Paris and the government pays attention. Millions are protesting here.
