After watching years of oak island with zero wins, this is clearly the best thing in the ground on oak island

Videos like these are awesome. I also love watching videos of people chasing down seals or sea lions and cutting fishing nets off of them.

The metal grid probably does a lot to prevent anyone or anything from digging up the eggs, but it also seems to be slowing them down. Also wondering why I don't see egg fragments.

The shells are soft and are squished down by all the movement. I was told they are like a ping pong ball.

They kinda look like ping pong balls, but most reptile eggs are sorta leathery, its more like a skin than a shell, iirc only gators and crocs lay hard shelled eggs like birds.

Yeah, that's about it. Turtle eggs may be less squishy but there is no hard shell. They have a denser feel, like a ping pong ball and are just as easy to deform.

This is a "cope cage" I can support.

So that is the secret they were after all this time.

I like the one that turned around and went back in.

Twice. (I like to think it was the same goofy little waddler.)

Also, what a clown-car! They just kept on pouring out!

OMG! All those baby turtles just drowned themselves and nobody tried to stop them! (kidding! kidding! kidding!) All the well thought out supports that were put in place were amazing and it felt like a privilege to watch

I think this should be done as often as possible. I also like the places that take compromised nests and incubate the turtles and release them when they are a little larger. They need as much help as we can give, seeing as humans caused their decline in the first place
