Do you think this “mavericks” ever take a step back and realize THESE are the people they’ve been supporting and building relationships with for their career? These lying, manipulative, myopic shitheels, these are the people you’ve spent years of your life with, who you backed? Do you think they ever regret it?

As long as they get something from it (money, power, career, privileges, kids to rape, drugs, whatever...) without consequences, it's all good for them !

It's their entire strategy to light a fuse then act shocked when an explosion happens, then blame the people who told them not to light it and tried to put it out.

Best example : Dr FAUCI. No further explaination needed.

America hasn't given 2 shits about Morocco since Operation Torch. The GOP(edophiles) only care now because Spain stuck it to their lord and master Rump. I'll echo the top comment, what a Shithole Cuntry.

I wouldn't be surprised if US social media algorithms played a role in organizing this. It's not the first time the US used refugee waves to boos fascist parties in Europe.

The US also vehemently supports the Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara. This is a favour to an obedient client state that doubles as a slap against the "Euro-lefties."

4 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They probably not organized the crisis, but they surely surf it, like the ruSSians, to "boosT" the EU far-right movements...

Most of the people crossing the border were young and saw lies on facebook and tiktok that the border was open. Once there Moroccan soldiers beat and pushed them that they would cross.

And they were "welcomed" by angry Ceutans + Spanish police hitting them to go back...

how is this even an issue for the US congress?

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Trump doesn't like Spain anymore. historic and strategic partnership between USA and Morocco. Morocco claims those cities for itself. Migrants/refugees are a strategic means of pressure when it comes to disputes with Spain or the EU.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OK but why does the US even have a say in all of this?

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't. But that also doesn't stop the US from yapping. Strategic and geopolitical interests and appeasing Trump. That's all there is to it.

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually said that. The party of “hey you promised there won’t be fact checking!”

Is he still dead ? I hope so ! Who's next ?

Sweden will recognise Texas as Mexican territory now as that is how things are done these days.

4 weeks ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

We, the American delegation, accept the Swedish delegation's offer to recognize Texas as Mexican territory on the condition that they also accept Florida as part of the deal.

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Denmark will recognise ALL of the United States as belonging to the indigenous people who lived there before any outside interloper ^^.... get one-upped Sweden

You just want their tacos!

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And their tequila! Damn, man, you got me there. :P

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As a mexican, i happily grant swedenbro access to texas and its tacos and tequila sundries. May your hard shell tacos be crunchy and freshly fried not stale quasi shittier versions of a folded tostada.

It never ceases to amaze me how the U.S. dictatorship makes decisions about other sovereign states, even though it has no authority to do so...

This is an area that every nation makes decisions on though. Like, some countries formally recognize Taiwan as a sovereign nation, but doing so pisses off the PRC, so most nations have decided to keep the "strategic ambiguity" policy that allows them to maintain official relations with both Taiwan and the PRC.
Turkey claims ownership of Cyprus, but nobody else recognizes that claim.
Tons of similar disputes worldwide: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_with_limited_recognition

I'm sorry but even as an American, why TF are we even weighing in on this? Like who asked? For our part, actual American citizens are just asking for better healthcare, better pay, and for the government to stop writing their religious and racist views into law

Actually, tRump is angry against Spain for different reasons (criticism over Iran War + Israel, lack of military support in wars Spain disagrees with, also Socialist gvt in Spain... with good economy) so i think the US & ISR gvts will take any opportunity to bully Spain. Also, Spain regularized 500 000 working migrants until June, and it goes against their narrative of "evil migrants raping our children".

4 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That's what I was about to ask about. I live here. Who the FUCK do these gobbleknobs think they are?????

4 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Grifting bullies going unpunished for too long... tar & feathers is a bit light-handed for this level of Evil.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And too many morons thought the idea that the U.S. had a play in this is just a “conspiracy theory.”

No one cares what they US has to say on the matter, that's not why this happened now. It's for the same reason as last time, in 2021, because of Spain's relationship with Algeria. In 2021 it was because they allowed the Polisario president Brahim Ghali to be treated for Coronavirus in a Spanish hospital and this time it's because of the visit to Algiers by Sánchez. I think you Americans take yourselves a bit too seriously.

Come on everybody! More than one thing can be true; international relations are complex with many different interests at play at almost any given time.
Yes, Morocco is pissed at Spain for getting close to Algeria, as Algeria is against Morocco’s occupation of west Sahara. Yes, the US and Israel support Morocco in this, and yes, that made Morocco sign the Abraham accords, and yes, Israel and the US are getting cosy with Morocco and are pushing for Morocco take back the Spanish territories 1/

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/ and yes, Spain is a threat to Israel’s continued occupation and genocide, and yes, the US are angry with Spain as they blocked the US from using their military bases and airspace to attack Iran, and yes, the European right wing are having a field day (backed by Russia and their bots) attacking Spain (and migrants), and yes, Morocco, Israel and the US inhumanely used desperate migrants to achieve their goal… I’m probably missing something but yea, that’s the main reasons AFAIK. Main point 2/

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3/ is that this is orchestrated by Morocco, Israel and the US bc they all have reasons to hate Spain, and Russia loves dividing Europe by spreading misinformation about migration to strengthen the far right and weaken the EU.

Some points might say heavier than others, but there are many interests and several countries involved.

The evidence is staring you right in the face and yet you still choose to ignore it.

4 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think #PatrickDenStore is right, especially given the insane level of seriousness of the US gvt right now... not that they cannot be a nuisance (ask Iran or Canada, Mexico, Venezuela...) but on this very precise case, i wonder how the US gvt (or any foreign gvt) would send orders to let pass the migrants to the Moroccan Police. They don't need the US to claim Ceuta & Melilla and use migrants to express anger vs Spain.
