But Trump can promise money he will never give and his followers will forgive him like the sheep they are

2 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Lol he promised more money that'll never come to these idiots if they vote red in November
They all clapped it up like the seals they are

3 days ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 3

As long as he has a 6-3 majority of Supreme Court judges to protect him from any consequences or fallout, during or after his presidency, he doesn't have any weaknesses. Just new, future grievances to feed the MAGA faithful in their diet of fear, hate, mockery and contempt. Becoming a lame duck who can't push through his handlers' agenda just gives him more time to demagogue and focus on rigging the next election. The 2028 campaign starts the day after the midterms.

Presidential immunity is the dumbest fucking concept. The president can try to break any law they want, and if they're stopped, there are no legal consequences.

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The real question is "Is your country shit enough now for you to go vote the right way come November?" to all Americans voters, even Trump voters. If their reply is no, don't worry, Trump will get the country there by 2028

Goddamn, he was never well, but he has moved into super unwell territory. Like, you're dementia addled great uncle that you hide the kids from now runs the country while you can see fresh pus coming out of his pores, unwell.

Please let it be poison.

Or a few life sentences and then poison

3 days ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Need one of those O'Brien mind prisons that let you serve a life sentence in a day. Then just keep puttin' 'em back in.

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

He’s just so much a fucking piece of shit!

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I say we just turn off the electricity from Niagara Falls and cut off the US. We’ll turn it back on when the US elects adults who are going to do their jobs.

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That would be a great way to kill a lot of people.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Canada could initiate rolling blackouts to northern states red districts who rely on Canadian electricity.

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

What I'm happy about is the fact that Iran no longer treats our government as legitimate - when Trump keeps breaking his word, there's no reason to trust him. Being a holdout until the next presidential election is a smart play.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They've been screwing with other countries for decades. It's our turn to turn up the heat under their asses.

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good link!

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I aint reading that. Just tell us what the Achilles heal is.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not entirely sure I like Canada and Iran being in the same sentence as making the US take damage, self inflicted or not. Drumpf might see it and start confusing the two.

3 days ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 7

some of the rhetoric that I've seen about Canada being a 'nuclear power' is scary too.... Yes we do have nuclear power up here...

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Like The Islamic State of Japan.

3 days ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Well W convinced his country that Iraq perpetrated 9/11, so that is a real concern.

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

"confusing the two" is tRumps default setting.

3 days ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Tbf it is a very complex shape compared to the first number.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"confusing the two"...even if it's just one thing.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Guys, hear me out. Canada should get a trial test at being the 51st state. Just give them a taste of being American, give them voting rights and see if they like it. They get to keep everything they already have otherwise. They just get to vote in Canadian and American elections in the next three elections, and if they don't like it, they can hand the mess back. I'm sure they'll ALL want to vote with Trump in mind.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Smokescreen so they can attempt to invalid the election.

3 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

What does this image mean? What am I not getting, or is it just so stupid that I can't get low enough to get it?

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Look at the grease on his face!

3 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Less administration and more defenestration.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Amnesty period for any countries who need to do some housekeeping. Just leave the museums alone in Washington DC and surrounding areas please

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Oh man, you don't know what happened to the Smithsonian yet, do you?

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The tampering of history to remove "woke" signage and such? Have heard about that at museums and national parks

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Good. I want the US to fall. They will be an empire no longer.

3 days ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I live here, and want us to stop being an empire. The time of superpowers has passed, and we're very bad at it, anyway.

I don't want us to fall completely apart. I DO want us to fall from grace, and leave the world alone while we sort this all out. Root out all the corruption, close the loopholes, restructure the whole dang framework - that's easily 15-20 years, at least. Then the next 30-40 would be rebuilding ourselves. And only THEN, do we rejoin the world - as petitioners, not as

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the entitled jerks we have been for decades. Nations should be working together on policy, not following the biggest economy and/or military in the room just because they're big.

And if we CAN'T do that? Then we deserve to fall. I won't like it. But if the world cared what I liked, we wouldn't be in this screwed up Regime in the first place.

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I completely agree, but I also would prefer the US balkanize in the process. I know the process would be destructive, but every process at this stage is destructive. Whether you wanna make the US better or have it keep getting worse, there will be destruction. So, imho, it should just stop being a country. Break into a few dozen independent states.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup. I am aware of this, and while I don't know if we will fully Balkanize - splitting into multiple nations, each with a government - that 15-20 years of rooting out the corruption is going to be accompanied by GREAT instability, both civil and political.

Putting ourselves back together after will be easier if we don't Balkanize, so I kind of prefer it on that grounds; remaining separate would lead to, well... the same problems that plagued the Balkans.

Also, the more unstable it gets, the

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

more it will spill over into Canada and Mexico; any riots in border cities will spill over, and mass emigrations are likely in any event.

Whatever we deserve here in the U.S., I don't want Canada and Mexico to have to deal with the collateral. And a reminder: as vast as Canada is, a majority of its population live within 100 miles (160 km) of the U.S. border. I expect at least 20 (32) of that to be the "splash zone", sitting too close to the stage.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ideally it should split into 4-5 smaller nations. Pacific, Midwest, South, and New England. The (almost entirely negative) global influence the US has had and continues to have as a united nation is too great a threat, no matter who's in charge of it.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My only issue with it all is the nuclear proliferation and war that will happen as a result. Like ya'll could dial it down a few notches and still do that keeping the fuckwits in line thing in return for favorable trade deals and military bases everywhere. That and china will 100% step into the gap.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but there is NO scenario where we can both clean out/fix our system AND avoid a huge amount of turmoil. In fact, I'm pretty sure there is no avoiding turmoil in ANY scenario.

Not to mention, the turmoil has already started. But this? This is tame stuff compared to what it could be. I don't mean Trump; the Regime is making its OWN turmoil, on purpose, everywhere it can. I mean domestically. Challenging the Regime will open a whole new can of internal strife.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Any chance you can post the whole article for these posts? Because you have the article in front of you to get the first pic. And there have been many bad actors who switch links after they make front page. Or add a link afterwards and it is similarly malicious. Random links online are generally not to be trusted.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What a crappy framing. "Harry Potter is making life very difficult for Voldemort!"

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not a fan of being lumped in with Iran. Definitely could have been worded better.

3 days ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

The enemy of your enemy is a friend, even if you don't agree on everything else. Drumpf or rather the cabal of billionaires backing him are an enemy to the entire world's working class people, no matter where we are from

3 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

No?

Stanning IRAN because they also hate Trump is just goofy. I would get gang raped and then thrown off a roof by the Gašt-e Eršâd if I stepped foot in that country.

3 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

I probably would be too, same in Türkiye if I expressed who I am. The Maggat cult is working hard to turn North America and the rest of the world into cult following dystopias like that too. Don't forget Iran used to be far more progressive, even permitting women to wear short skirts, go to university, before the American CIA deposed democracy and installed an autocratic regime in the country. The same sort of people are now in power again, albeit far less competent in their goings-on

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Rather be Iran than pedo cult.
Rather be Iran than nazis.
Rather be Iran than Israel.

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

So the republicans are going to blame Canada for them being historically unpopular.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The US Achilles heel is that Europe, China and Japan own the gross of US debt. If we sell this debt in larger parts at once, the US would have to lend money at the same interest as dunno… Simbabwe. And t gf at would end you in a few tears

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Something something Bone Spurs.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

His Achilles heel is basically just any amount of pushback. Dude's been given absolutely everything and doesn't know how to deal with a No.

3 days ago | Likes 226 Dislikes 1

Because bibi has dirt on every gop and dem. Theyre all in his pocket.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the media. He does something; declares absolute victory, and the average people (who don't watch any news) believe him.

3 days ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Even if they do watch any news, it’s all right wing propaganda these days. If you take two seconds of critical thinking you can see right through the propaganda, but these idiots don’t know what that is.

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is what terrible parenting leads to: he was born rich, never was told no, learned to blame everyone else, run away from problems, buy/lie/shout his way out of everything, and now the president shits his pants.

3 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Ironically, its actually excellent timing for it. He's gotten so used to getting anything he asks for that i feel he literally doesnt know how to deal with it now that its...well NOT happening

No bully does. The last thing they want is a victim who refuses to be a victim and fights back. I was the smallest kid in my high school until puberty finally hit. Assholes on the junior football team bullied me a lot...until I kicked one of them in the balls in a crowded hallway. His pals didn't know if I knew how to fight or was just batshit crazy, but the physical bullying ended that day. The guy I kicked missed four practices, a game, and another practice and was still walking funny then.

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yep. I had a couple bullies in 7th grade. Finally went after one of them in the locker room, landed absolutely nothing, and got myself a bloody nose, but they never bothered me again after that. It's worth fighting back, even if you lose.

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

when fighting against a bully, it is not whether I win or lose, but that they do not get a freebie. They do not need both eyes :}

OFFICIAL convention. With the biggest, loudest sarcasm quotes imaginable.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey now, the CIA arming rebel forces is TECHNICALLY indirect

3 days ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 3

And they aren't really getting involved in elections per se. They are technically shutting them down and installing their puppet dictators.

3 days ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

The CIA doesn't count, for some reason.

Since when?

When? The early 19th century? We've been messing with stuff since TR and Panama at least.

Literally - not figuratively, literally - the entire rest of the world would like to have a word.

3 days ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 0

And they'd better start with Musk, he's funding nazis in Germany.

3 days ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

not just funding; pretty sure he probably helped manipulate things to get the latest batch of nazis elected too.

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That's what I suspected as soon as I read about the AfD win.

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also far right movements in Mexico. Which just made us create an exception for presidential candidates. No double nationality holders can aspire to presidency.

Stargate SG-1 had a great bit about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dn6NUKvMGs&t=29s

"Since when, sir?"

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

One of the best science fiction series of all time. I am 57 years old. I was playing "Galileo 7" on the preschools monkey bar set. Draining my bark "phaser" to get the shuttle up. SG1 is IMHO one of the best science fiction series of all Time. Trek(TOS) ((but all)) (((TNG!!!!))). We GenX had it made with Trek(all) BSG both. The Orville. All the Stargate series. Alien. Aliens. V.

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Love me some SG-1. Have you watched The Expanse? Another excellent one.

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Honestly? Interfere as much as you can Canada. It's at the point where outside help is needed to force change. The power structures and systems currently in control of the United States are no longer functioning to protect and serve the best interests of its citizens. Usually foreign policy ends up by the wayside at the same time.

3 days ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Why don't your states succeed from the union? Then call on the United Nations for observers? Why ask others to do what the usa people need to do?
(Pretend your doing it to another country)

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Formal secession would be very difficult to pull off. Each state has not only a governor, but also a state Congress, and they would all have to agree on the motion and on its terms. In the unlikely event it DOES get a consensus and actually secedes, it would be easily a year after first proposition... at least!

And THEN you have the other issue: being recognized as a sovereign nation by the rest of the world. Would anyone in the globe be willing to publicly support, say, the Republic of

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

California? Of New York? Would Canada? Would the EU? Japan, India, or anywhere not actively hostile to the U.S.? (I'm sure Russia, China, Iran, and some others would be getting the popcorn out. Israel would probably disapprove, because it would be moving forces back to North America.)

Lastly, but LEASTLY, there's the fact that a split like this would look bad to other nations. It did the last time, too. But, honestly, the U.S. already looks terrible to them. And deservedly so.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

FWIW: CA, TX, NY could cede and be basically fine, most blue states could.

Jeeezisland is fucked, though.

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Take a moment and consider what happened last time states in the United States tried to secede.
