Playboy publisher Hugh Heffner was asked by model Audra Lynn Christiansen to report Epstein to the FBI who attacked and trafficked her. This was back in 2005. The FBI wouldn't start investigating Epstein until 2006, resulting in numerous s3zcrime charges in 2019. They didn't contact Chrisitansen about Heffner's tips until 2020.
The FBI claims they are not required to investigate every complaint that they receive, but given how long it took to respond to Heffner's leads one has to wonder what connections Epstien had with the bureau.

Well I’d say it is for “censorship reasons”, it’s just to EVADE censorship rather than to comply or enable censorship.

It's not the internets or the government's job to protect us from words (Or to even think they need to) it's not their responsibility to do a parents job. It's not their job to shield adults fully capable of making a choice. Parents have all the tools THEY need at their disposal to protect or limit what they see/hear online. Same goes for adults. 911 is for immediate emergencies, if you want the police to open an investigation into something or you have a tip they have specialized phone numbers for that. Human trafficking involves crossing state lines so is the jurisdiction of the FBI. The phone number is public and on their website

In case you were sincerely asking - yes, they do. (Used to work in Fed level law enforcement). I’ve seen countless times “just call me directly in the future”.
But, that said, if the crime crosses state lines (or, in the case of Epstein) yes - a “regular civilian” should also reach out to the FBI to report a crime. Your local PD will have little to no effective course of action. Simply outside their scope.
