Really? I liked it. It was goofy and fun, but not over-the-top cringey. SW is supposed to have goofy and fun moments and not be super serial all the time, so it didn't seem out of place to me. I also liked the droid bar because it shows that most droids are not mindless automatons, which has been part of the lore since the beginning.
