An aortic rupture is the kind of thing that might be survivable if it happened in the waiting room of a top cardiac surgery unit with the operating team present and standing by. Lady G might have had a less than 5% chance of survival even if the paramedics had arrived instantly. Apropos to nothing it's also supposed to be an intensely painful way to die.

I love this joke. Also I admit that my pain tolerance is high and I should recognize when I need help better. At some point in my childhood my mom realized that if I said "this has kinda been bothering me" we had to go straight to the hospital. I tried to walk off my broken ankle for hours before my gf convinced me to go to the ER, and I told the nurse my pain was a 2 and my gf almost slapped me and told her it was not a 2.

So, just the other day I was moving some heavy things and strained my wrist (to the point where small objects hurt to lift...) wife wanted me to go to doctor, I refused, the pain went away (I assumed it was just a strain and it would heal on its own).
However, there is a dramatic difference between some joint pain and chest pains that don't resolve in a few minutes or with an antacid or half a alprazolam (heartburn)

there is this tv show here in Italy, forum, basically it was a real, serious court. Nowday it's trash tv where there are only 2 type of case: husband cheat on wife or wife cheat on husband. In the 1st case the husband is always an horny piece of shit and lose everything.
In the 2nd case either the husband work too much and the wife win because she was "treated like an item", or the husband dont do overtime to stay at home and the woman win because he "is jealous, suffocating and overbearing"
