I've been saying this my whole life (born in 58); from K-12, all kids should speak at least 2 languages fluently, and for those of us in the Americas, that would be English & Spanish: I always wished I was raised to do so. That way, you younger folk can travel around most of South America without a communication problem, and meet these (and other) fine Latinx people!
