Envious of this bear's caretakers. Being friendly with a bear is a terrible idea, aside from the danger of the animal, teaching it to associate humans with food. But as a circus rescue, this bear isn't really qualified to go back into the wild. So to just spend the rest of the bear's life making sure they're as happy and healthy as possible sounds like a delightful job. High risk, probably shovel a lot of bear turds, but a worthy purpose.

There are two Alaskan brown bears at my local zoo and even from a distance, even behind glass, they absolutely terrify me. They are HUGE, and something in my brain just screams “run!” when I see them. In all honesty, it’s kind of interesting to be a middle aged man and have that kind of reaction to something.

I've been there myself, they're incredibly well fed, happy, lazy, and very familiar with humans. Most animals there are retired circus and theater animals.
