The Bushes were really bad, and they deserve to go down in history for being absolute disgraces to politics, but Trump's cutting of the CDC, plus his downplaying of the spread, and politicizing it to make protections more difficult is what turned the Corona virus outbreak into a full-blown pandemic. He majorly caused the 7 million world wide deaths.

Trump did fire CDC workers, and Wuhan was where some were stationed. This was him trying to undo everything Obama did. He downplayed the pandemic, and even went against experts on combating the virus. He fought shutting things down until he couldn't, he supported anti-vax rhetoric and politicized everything. All of this was documented. My opinion: He did everything wrong, other nations followed his opinion, and 7 million people died as a result

That's a solid point. The vaccine was rushed, but when the CDC and WHO got fully behind it opinions changed. That's the difference between the left and right: Evidence and experts change our minds. Whereas talking heads pundit morons change the minds of the Right.
