Don't tell a marine that. In my experience marines are more likely to get pissy about being former or ex marines. You can find that reaction in other branches, but it is much more prevalent in the marines.

I wanna clean that room too. The attractive thing about it is that it's not so much dirty as it is chaotic. And the degree is such that any effort will go a long way.
Most of that is just clothes on the floor. Easy fix. Even if they don't have anywhere to go, they could be folded and stacked by the wall.
