So things have gotten better. At least in terms of inventory. Our stores are 99% full. We have almost everything except toilet paper. We are limiting the number of people in stores to ensure social distancing. But people are getting awful. Threatening lawsuits for not letting them in. People asking me to use the restroom to only let them in and see them checkout 20 minutes later with a cart full of groceries. People claiming to have disabilities to get in front of the line. Idk. My staff is stressed. I’m tired. They’re tired. We are exhausted. We didn’t sign up for this. We put shit on shelves and smile at people for $15 an hour. The reality is this will be the new norm for a few months.
